IMO the front end of the Silverado looks like the front end of the Wagon Queen Family Truckster from National Lampoons Vacation. At least the headlights do anyway. Just sayin...

That is the first thing that came to mind when Chevy revealed this *cough* new design. I've always been a Chevy guy, but not anymore.

nice truck! I like the interior, i'm usually a black leather fan but that brown looks good. Any rub with those tires?

-edit: never mind just saw on your tires thread that there isn't any.

No rub at all..... But I did pin my fenders back, It might have had a slight rub if didn't. I dont think I can run a plastic or thick rubber mudflap either without a bit of rubbing.

Your wrong. :-)

Yes they both have stacked low and high beams but that is really the only similarities into opinion.

So you are saying Chevrolet should not start a segment first of offering wood side panels for Silverados?

It is a funny comparison is all(I think). I like both. The grill for a Silverado can make or break their appearance in person.

Really like the High Country grill in the photos, but the wheels for that one are another story.

I personally think Chevy has dropped the ball all the way around on the Silverado. I think the Sierra will take a good deal of its business away...

Wrong. I like the stacked headlights. That is what is on my '09 Sierra and I really like it. As for the hoppie, no. and you must have way good drugs to think they look alike.

I politely disagree. 1. The Chevy looks fine. A lot of people bleed bow tie and will buy Chevy.

2. A lot of people will not care for the LED DRLs on the Sierra. Include me on that. If I get the Sierra, I will fuse pull the DRLs. Heck, a new Honda has them and they look weak. I think halos ya, but no to the strip lights.

3. There are more Chevy dealers about so easier to get to, to buy and to service.

Anyway back on topic. tires look good. No rub even on rough dirt road etc.?? Look into the Bilsteins 5100s for a nose lift that keeps full shock travel and allows the larger tires. Great ride too.
