2014 Sierra All Terrain Grill

Does anyone know how to take off the front grill on the 2014 Sierra All Terrain?

I like the stock grill, just want to paint the GMC symbol black, figured
its easiest to just take it off. Got the top of the grill off and then
didn't know how to take the rest off and didn't want to break anything. I
already removed the GMC off the tailgate, it's too big and obnoxious
IMO

Nice looking truck. I have the SLT and am trying to track down an All Terrain grille. Nobody seems to have one in stock and GM Parts can't locate one. Guess I gotta wait a awhile.

there is 4 10mm screws holding the middle bumper insert and the grille together behind the bottom bumper...

you have to get underneath the truck to remove them... Then there is 2 7mm screws on each side of the middle bumper insert by the wheel well.

I plasti dipped my gmc logo in the front with flat black. So just taped around the logo about 10 inches and spray away. I pulled the plasti dip off the outline of the gmc and just covered the red up. It looks wicked, will post a pick when I get home and can resize

Oh ok, I haven't use plasti-dip before but I was planning on using it for this. So you just sprayed the whole general area and then cut out the red part of the logo somehow? I found it tough to just tape off while on the truck, not sure how you do that.

Yeah taped around the front gmc logo with out covering any of the symbol, put about 6 layers on then my 7yr old and 5 year old neighbors actually peeled the plasti dip off. It creates it's own break so if you want the chrome around the gmc to still be there and just the red covered all you have to do is grab a corner and peel.

 

If you want it completely black you just take the tape of and ta da, you're done.

Just make sure you read the directions on the can, to include min temperature for spraying. Others on here have had issues because it was to cold and the can spit blobs out.
