I was expecting some kind of Apple flag waving ceremony, followed by a flaming.

ha -- not me!! And yes I admit to earning the dinosaur description. The shaky OS upgrades have me standing firm with the factory OS setting. Which reall stinks because I'd love to post up my "Silver Bullet" SLT just so I can show her to you guys.

Have also noticed the moving driver seat, and bluetooth is always going silent when listening to music. Thd Bluetooth issue got worse with Apple iOS 8.1 update, which others have complained of on Apple's forums.

nice!! my favorite rims...wish I had 'em!! I have similar 6 spoked rims but mine are ground down to smooth and polished aluminum spokes. I much prefer yours because they have an edge and different surface textures.

Thanks, I must say GM does a great job designing a variety of rims that look great with their trucks.

One reason why I've stayed with the stock rims the last two trucks I had from them.

The Bluetooth drops when listening to music, especially changing albums or playlists.

Right now I am placing blame on Apple's iOS and not GMs software.

She stands out in a crowd. Had some ppl ask me about her when they saw me getting in. I snapped this while I was walking up.

Mike did you tint the windshield? What wheels? They look like black all terrains?

Yes I have 45% on the entire windshield plus a 5% visor. So with the 45% film I'm at around 31-32% VLT windshield. Easy to see out at night IMO and perfect for during the day. I will forever do 45% on my windshields.

They are the stock chrome rims (same thing as the A/T rims) but plastidipped black with Armor All Outlast Tire Glaze sprayed on it to give it a very nice shine.

I might go plasti dip grey to rid of the shiny chrome on my stock 14.

I just finished my tint. Went 15 front windows and 30 over the factory 20 in the back. It's dark but not quite as dark as I was hoping for. Though I should've gone black interior so it would be darker. As well as 10 in the front.

I think 45% on my windshield sounds good. Hell in already illegal might as well. I will have to get hids first. You ever get caught with 45% on the windshield or have no problems?

That was my thought process exactly! I have 35% over the rear factory 20 and two layers of 35% on the front. I originally did 35% all around but it was just too light upfront so I added another layer, much better now. I'm at 7% rear, 8.6% front, and 31-32% shield. There's barely any light let in during the day. And no I haven't had any issues and the cops around here are crazy. Plus I travel interstate a lot and see plenty of state troopers and none have said anything. But I also have a Pouisiana Sheriff Honorary member license plate in my windshield on the dash. So that could be a part of it. But doubt it as it's not extremely visible lol.

It was the only spot I could get when I arrived! I parked where no one should've been able to park behind me (my hitch extends another 13" past the bumper so usually no one wants to be behind me in the lot). I never park this close

I'm giving it some thought. My luck I would get caught. With my 15% over the factory 70% and 30% over the 20% in the back, I'm at 9% in the front and 6% in the rear with a 5% strip.

45% to 50% maybe even 70% on the front windshield would do wonders.

Putting two layers of tint on your front can you tell? I might put another layer of 70 on my front to bring it down more if you can't tell.

You're giving me ideas.

I hated the High Country wheels when I got the truck and regretted not having my wheels swapped onto it from my old truck, but they are growing on me now with the new tires on them. dace6c8ae0e4e3375a0c65765b801fe6.jpg

Mac your truck looks sweet! I'm really close to buying a new truck, and have decided to go back with another Chevy or GMC, your photos definitely helps my decision a bit more! What's your setup?

Cheers, it's a 14' Z71 LTZ. Rough Country 2.5 lift, Metal Mulisha Series 38 wheels 17x9 -6 offset. Tyres Cooper STT 295/70 17, Removed front air dam, Spray bed liner and just fitted the amp power steps ... they are awesome !

Maybe a Cat back from borla and then I'm done.

Or maybe not, I've been reading about suspension
