Insulating/Finishing garage

So here's what I got... I have a 20x30 stick built garage. I just finished the electrical and now I want to insulate and finish the inside. That said I'm going to use 7/16 OSB on the walls with faced bats for insulation. The question is a) will 7/16 OSB on the ceiling get all wavy when spanned 24" b) do I need faced or unfaced bats in the attic or maybe blow it in? And if I choose blow in or unfased bats do I have to run some kind of vapor barrier? I may heat and/or cool the garage if I'm working but not all the time. The attic is vented w/ gable vents and vented soffit.

IMO if your using the osb for your finish surface, pay a little bit more and get 1/2" sanded one side ply wood. It is going to be stronger, wont be nearly as wavy, and most important, when you do get water in the garage , your walls wont wick it up like the osb will.

Faced batts. If using blown, use a plastic vapor barrier

Like said above, it does need a vapor barrier.

You might want to check with your insurance company to see if they require fireproof finish material such as drywall.

Probably only if it's attached to your house.
