I custom made a bracket for mine cause it wouldnt work with my new McGaughy's lift, I have a pic on my phone that I'll post up in a minute. And if you want to tighten up your steering, get a Cognito pitman/ idler arm support kit, really helped me on my 35's, bet it would do even more on your stock size tires as well. Only downfall is is that the kit is a little pricey

Honestly that's not really too much IMO. Since I'm over 100k I'm starting to think it's about time to redo ball joints, steering ends and bushings.

This is the plate I made to mount where the bolts hold the passenger side of the front diff. to the frame. A longer bolt and some washers may be needed though to provide clearance, or not because your truck is stock height and I mounted mine to the drop bracket of the lift so it torqued it at a steep angle. If you want the dimensions for the plate, I still have them laying around

 

 

That's the bracket they give to you with the kit. Where I figured to mount it was extend the stabilizer all the way out, measure it, push it back in half way, and then attach the stabilizer to the custom bracket and then the one provided and mount it from there. You can also see the support bracket for the Cognito kit I was talking about. Basically sandwiches the drag link and uses heim joints and sleeved nuts to do the job

Very cool, thanks. Looks like getting it mounted shouldn't be too hard. If all I have to do is make a little plate it won't take too long.

I think either way it looks good Chris. Looks a lot nicer all lit up vs stock.

 

I have my steering stabilizer sitting in the shop, I just have to make a bracket to mount it. Sometime.

 

Also ordering new torsion bar crossmember bushings/mounts, mine are trashed. If you have a torsion bar front end and it's clunking under your feet, check them.

Those are bout $40-$50 a piece and be prepared to grind or drill out the old rivets. Not too bad though. Then I installed this lift and it doesn't use them, oh well lol

Yeah very straight forward. Just grind them flat and drill em out. If you have a good bit and keep it oiled it should only take 15 min.

Welp no dice on the stabilizer. It doesn't look like I can get it to clear the actuator.

Get a longer bolt on the differential mount side and stack washers until you get the height you need. But that could cause other clearance issues as well
