I can't decide.

The 1999 Superdutys are legendary for being tough trucks. GMC was dead set on trying to pick up where old Ford left off. That is why they copied the front end of the 1999 Superdutys for their new 2014 truck. No need to re-invent the wheel when you can improve on the wheel already out there.

Is this your opinion, or is this documented somewhere?

Legendary definition has changed since I last looked.

I pulled the trigger and flip flopped back to the Chevy and ordered it today.

6.2L Z71 LZ2.

Sunroof

20 inch rims

Nav

Heated cooled seats

Bose

And everything else but the driver alert nonsense.

Now it's a waiting game as to how long it will take to build.

Congrats and enjoy it when you get it. You can't go wrong if you get what you like.

I agree, either choice would have been great. Their both GM products. Enjoy!!

Is the chrome grill on the LTZ the same as the other chrome grilles on LT, minus the LTZ badge (or Z71, in your case)?

Posted

Yes- it's the same grill, I hated the Z71 grill. Dealer swapped it out with this one and I drilled the holes for the LTZ emblem and put it in myself.
