please advise on drone and chopper!

I have the 14" Magnaflow, i also cut out my third cat and ran 3" pipe rather than the stock pipe all the way out the back.

The drone is almost not noticeable at highway speeds. Once you get to 75+ it gets a tad louder, but not much. With the radio on, i can't hear it.

As for the chopper, it's there... but i dont think it's bad. It is worst at around 40mph in my experience. But once again, with the radio on I can't hear it.

The cabs of these new body trucks are incredibly quiet, so if you don't want to hear it... turn the radio on. My old 2008, i didn't have that option as it was always loud. But this magnaflow exhaust is so much better than the flowmasters I had before for daily driving. It's aggressive when accelerating, but it calms right down when you start cruising. I would highly recommend the set up I have as it sounds better all around and flows much better. I've gotten an increase in MPG since I'e had the exhaust, and it kicks into v4 more often than it used to, since I have larger 10-ply tires, which leads me to believe it's able to breathe and function better than before.

Well straight for the horses mouth.... So to speak lol

Reply from Volant when asked about the sound of their exhaust vs corsa.

" Similar exhaust to dB by CORSA. TMG bought CORSA in '09 and Volant in '13 so all our exhaust is made under the same roof. Old Volant used to have an exhaust program but this new line is similar to the dB."

Well that confirms our suspicion. Did you get yours on yet and if so how do you like it?

Appreciate the help. I went ahead and ordered it last night. Can't wait to get it on and hear it.

Just curious if you received your exhaust yet and if you like it?

Not yet unfortunately. I was expecting to have it by now. It's been on back order for a while. Supposed to ship the 12th I guess, but we'll see.

finally got a couple videos up, really sorry for it not being amazing quality, definitely going to want to listen on the computer or with headphones haha.

So this Corsa/Volant is very interesting. I listened to both idle clips and sounds great. Any in cab videos v4 and v8 mode, windows up/down, wide open throttle etc?

Edit: I found one in cab following your youtube account. Found one other video on a Sierra.

Oh ok glad you found it. I'm not sure if you could tell V8-V4 switch in that clip. You can definitely hear it switch back and forth. So I just drive M5 in the city and just throw it back in drive or up to M6 on the highway to still utilize the V4. The V4 doesn't bother me nearly as much on the highway cruising. In the city stop and go the constant switch back and forth drives me crazy, plus I imagine it sounds like extra garbage from the outside haha

Yeah this one right? I never saw it switch on the dash or could tell a difference. Think I would just do the same if it bothered me and hold it in M5.

Looking to do a Flowmaster (thinking Delta 40) on my truck. Did a search and looked through the forum, but didn't see the info I was looking for.

Truck is a 2015 Sierra Crew 4x4 1500 5.3 short bed.

The stock muffler is center in, but I'm wondering what the out offset is.

Also, anyone have this truck with the Delta 40? Thoughts?

I had a 50 performance on my last truck, but I was thinking of going a little louder, different.

Thanks in advance people.

Unless you like to listen to a helicopter chasing you down the road while in V4 then leave it stock or tune out V4.

Sorry yeah I didn't catch it in that video, I had meant you can definitely hear it in person in the cab
