2014+ Lowering / Drop Kits

My Belltech 7" flip, stock hanger w/shorter shackle (as pictured above) gave me about 7 3/8" drop.

 

 

What does it measure from the center of the wheel hub? Measuring from the ground will change results because of tire height and Im curious how mine compares. Mine is 34" from ground, but I'm on a 285/50R20

Something doesn't seem right. I had flip kit with oem hanger with that same shackle (which os a 1" lift shackle" and i was at a little.over 6" drop in the rear

Weird. Mine is just the oem shackle.

Yea, those photos were from when I first lowered it while on the stock 17's.

 

I'll measure from wheel center and get back to you.

Here is the hanger. You can see the bed seam folded over to get it as high as possible.

Looking at that, I dont think I could get a shorter shackle if I wanted to.

 

Is the hanger upside down, or do the lowering hangers mount that way?

That's a lift hanger for use with lowering kits

Ended up going with the 2" shackles and removed the factory blocks and replaced with 1/2". It sits perfectly level but I kinda wish I would have left the factory blocks. Maybe I'm just use to a little or always just lifting the front. Going to just take some getting used to.

Dropped mine today with the Belltech shocks and Shackles. I was able to easily get the alignment within specs.

Well, front strut is a lowering mechanism.

Using lowering shocks throws the camber and toe way out. My camber was at -1.9 degrees on both side and the wheels toed out big time with the drop shocks.
