The charging module by itself is #23248791 $247.82 from dealer

Lid is #23264448, if you purchase this from local dealer like I started out it will be $400 to $500

Easy way is to get lid & charger off Ebay for $189. That's what I did.

I posted some more info about this with pics under a different title or conversation on this forum about charging lids

$500??

think I'll just buy a new $10 usb cable.

I'm trying to get a console in my '15 now, so I'll be doing this project again. Thought about the wireless charging, didn't know it used like. solid diamond and uranium in the mix that would make the lid so expensive though.

Charging module with the complete lid from my dealer was going to cost $400/$500 to purchase just the lid & charging module.

I purchased complete lid & charging module in lid for $189 off ebay & it is factory. The lid is an easy swap.

I just read this thread word for word and want to do this bad. I have a 2015 LS (was WT2 for MY 2014) and while getting a tire rotation a sat in a 2015 with the full console. I am gonna make this happen. The seat under the little console is useless. I feel in love with the full console.

I've been working with GMPD to get PNs for the denali console with the woodgrain sides.

I dont have PNs yet, but I think I want to swap out my silver door trim with the denali woodgrain.

The console PN I ordered a long time ago still seems to work, as does the bracket, and one of the 2 side pockets, but the top trim and the passenger side map pocket trim doesnt. Anyone have the latest PNs for the black console?

Also, did anyone ever get those usb ports to work? I never could get mine to do anything last time around, and I kinda hated that. I know my 2015 has a usb in the glovebox. I wonder if I can move the wire for that to the 3 in the upper console?

Thank you SO much for this thread. Just bought a new 2016 Silverado Z71 LS that comes with the regular jump seat and I am wanting to do this console swap.

I need to try and confirm as much as I can here if possible so I can order the correct parts and also make sure I am on the right track.

Got a few main topics and questions about them ............................

1. Are my part#'s correct??? Seems there are random different part #s for the same thing lately and not sure what I should order???

Here is what I "Think" I should be ordering .....

* 23466980 - Black Console (is this black leather with white stitching? ... just a single 12V in back along with X2 USB's, X1 12V inside and AUX?)

* 22817347 - Black Right Panel (these are just the panels that create the cubby hole part and cover the console for the finished look right?)

* 22817349 - Black Left Panel

* 22995086 - Upper Trim Panel Plate Kit (Synthesis) (this comes with cup holder and all right?)

* 22776807 - Front Mounting Bracket (this is mounted in the dash after the cubby / ashtray is removed to hold on the front of the new console?)

HOW DOES ALL THIS LOOK? .... The parts on GMPartHeadquarters.com calls this stuff GMC replacement parts but I assume they are all the same regardless even if Chevy.

- Also I have seen another part# as well for the full console ... Part#22995066 ... seems this is like $20 more then the other but not sure what is the difference. Maybe I don't need this one, maybe I do, not sure what is the right one for me. I think this part# has the chrome handle up front I know that I think, but not sure of anything else.

- Do I need the Side Panel part? ... I have seen a couple parts list have part# 23467516 ... not sure what part is and do I need it? I thought those panels were the Black left and right panels listed above? is this part something different for say a manual 4x4 control box area or something?

- Also for the USB Data Cable ... do I need to get the AC Delco cable as well? Part# 19303328? (more about this below)

I currently have the Synthesis colored trim on the doors, black leather seats with white stitching (does this console part# have the leather top with white stitching?), My dash has the single 12V and the 110 power port ... the jump seat has 12V and 2 USB's with a single AUX jack (no SD card port) and the rear just the single 12V.

So In knowing my current configuration are the parts #'s above still valid? The console has the black leather top on the storage door with white stitch and the plate kit is the correct color panels for my truck right???

Now on to the next questions .......

2. WIRING! .... I do not plan on doing any splicing etc. just to get the front two USB's working and the second 12V port along with adding the light inside (though if easy I may think about that one).

Main question on wiring .... Is it all plug and play to just get the same stuff I have now working on the new full console? Meaning I just get the single 12V up front along with the 110 power port, and the center will just have the single 12V and 2 USB's in the compartment, then lastly the single 12V in the rear???

Will all this just WORK by taking out the jumpseat and plugging the wires into the new console with zero splicing, soldering or any electrical work whatsoever? Cause if so that is the plan ... as long as I get the same stuf I have now and the other stuff just doesn't work .... Hey, no biggie to me! :)

ALSO ... I keep hearing about a mini / micro usb cable ... do I need this? Seems this may be handy somehow if you have the glove box USB right? I do have the upper glove box USB .... so should I get this mini USB cord and do something with it? If so is it easy to do? no electrical splicing etc. needed? and if so what does this do extra for me?

And I've seen this part #19303328 which is an AC Delco OEM USB data cable for like 13 bucks ... should I just get this one???

Now to the last question about all of this ........

3. Mounting and install .......

So I think read somewhere back at the beginning 2 extra screws are needed? I saw it was a M6 x 1.0 x 1 inch length??? Is this still correct that I need these two screws / bolts? If so where would a guy find this exact size locally? or do I need to order them somewhere?

Also my dash ... it has the cubby to the left that I see will need to be removed and from what I read is not hard right? but what about the area around the 12V input and the 110 port? does that whole section around there need to be removed as well? if so any instructions on this or is it pretty self explanatory once in there removing things? Any further help or details here would be great.

Do the console bolts just lineup with where the other 4 bolts were to hold down the jumpseat?

Installing .... So remove the passenger seat right, then pop the caps covering the 4 bolts and remove them and then at that point the jumpseat comes up and I can see where the harness is connected somewhere right?

Do I just leave the harness and disconnect it from the jumpseat as I will need the existing harness to work on the new full length console?

And onto the wiring and harness ... do I still use the harness that comes with the new console as well as the old harness? How does the front dash stuff plug into the new console? where do all the plugs go to make the center console 12V, X2 USB's and single rear 12V? Will I just see this once I pull it all up and say to myself "Ohh, ya this all just goes here and there and bam plug and play done??? (minus of course the stuff that doesn't work on the new console of course).

I am SO sorry for this long post and I hope it all made sense .... I am the type who read and learns and I have read this whole thread and though I think I get 85% of it there is still those oddball questions I have here to make sure I have the correct parts ordered and I don;t get started and nto have something or it be incorrect ... And also I do not want to run into any 'surprises' during install as well so I have these few follow up questions to make sure I go into this totally informed and confident.

Thanks so much for all the help you can provide me here and the tons already provided in this thread.

I just bought my new Chevy 2 weeks ago so just signed up when I found this thread and a couple others to ask questions and get help.

Thanks again and I look forward to seeing if you help a new guy out to make sure I don't screw anything up and get it all right the first time! ;)

Quite honestly, if you just read this thread, every single question you have has been asked before and answered. I just bought my Sierra in January, had the jump seat, and I wanted the console. I read this thread and did the installation in a jiffy due to the knowledge already put into this thread.

-You WILL have to splice the old harness into the new harness. It is not plug and play

-The bolts can be found at your local big box hardware store(Home Depot, Lowes, Ace, TrueValue, etc......)

-The cubby hole, 12V, and 120V all come out as one piece and will not be reused. The top trim ring you order will have those in it.

And as far as installation I would re-read this thread as all those questions(including the ones I answered above) are in this thread.

I knew it was to long! :P

And my part numbers I think are right but yes they are said thought this thread but it is also over a couple years in here as well and things change along with part numbers.

Was hoping to get more recent up to date information was all.

This stuff is all non refundable so I need to make sure I get it right the first time if possible.

I know my above reply is long but still curious about some things and would love to get more recent clarification.

Thanks :)

i bought a center console off eBay that came out of a 15 sierra 2500hd and it has wood trim panels. above the cup holder it came with dual usb and 2 round 12v receptacles ...inside storage was 1round 12 v and a hole that had something removed.. also 1 round 12v in rear.. my 15 2500hd is SLT with wood trim and i removed the dual usb and used my 110 v receptacle in that hole.. used my usb/rca/sd receptacle inside the storage where it was blank.. used my existing harness .. the only thing i didn't have plugs for was 1 12 above cup holder the led interior storage light and a mercury switch that powers the led light.. also my console came with wireless charger lid which i don't have rest of the charger ;yet. i went on eBay and found a harness removed from a 15 truck with all the connectors i need and more... part number for this is 23126812... not sure if i'm going to use whole thing or splice what i need.. I'm not sure that the truck harness has all same pins as the one i bought. although they're identical all pins may not be in truck side..hoping someone can answer this.. thanks again for all who have helped

Who would you recommend to order through???

* GM Parts Headquarters (

or

* GM Parts Online (Superstore) (

OR If not these two who else would you recommend?

The GM superstore costs more but they price match so they are the same price as GM Headquarters basically.

I like that Superstore has a dang phone number to contact and a live expert to talk with ... that is comforting you know.

Just curious what the experience is here with both of these places as they seem to two most have ordered from due to stock and price.

Thanks .... trying one questions at a time here now :)

So far my dealer has come close to matching everything I have ordered. They are a little higher but once shipping is factored in it breaks even.

Haven't tried it with the center console yet but I did take the time to check all the prices plus shipping to my house from a handful of dealers.

For some reason there were dramatic shipping differences between the 2 available center consoles. The cheapest I found was GMPartsheadquarters.com.

Have the Part #'s updated??? A couple of these are different from what I thought I was suppose to order?

Why is one of the side panels totally different part # (doesn't end in 349 now?) also is your top plate kit a different number cause of color? (Mine is the synthesis) and also what's the difference in consoles? should I be looking to another part# for some reason? Thanks

Is the part number for the entire center console assembly for the 16 the same as the 15? (the one without the wireless charger lid) I believe the part numbers are 23466980 & 23466999. Not entirely sure what the difference between the 2 part numbers are except the price.

GM Parts Direct 23466980 CONSOLE ASSEMBLY, W/O DENALI, W/O REAR DVD, BLACK $338.83 Shows diagram as well as what vehicles it fits.

GM Parts Direct 23766999 CONSOLE $314.76 No diagram or compatible vehicle chart.

This is the info I found on the 2 different part numbers. There is nothing specific in the details provided by GM parts direct. So without having them side by side it is hard to say what the differences are.

The part numbers for the upper trim panel (top plate) vary on color and options. If you have the AC outlet or not. The prices I have are for synthesis w/110V outlet.

There are many Variations:

Don't know what side pieces you have looked at but here they are from GM Parts Direct, there are only 2 options available per side and that is only a differece in color:
