I've seen a few pictures of Manual Transfer cases being modified. Has anyone found a good method of doing this? Maybe adding a extension so you can keep the side panel of the center console on?

center console with manual 4x4........i keep it without knob. this way it is hide and not really more hard to put in 4x4

some of you can make an extension but i drove it this way all winter and used 4x4 often and it was not a problem for me

Just because it has wood trim doesn't mean it is the grand lace wood trim like mine but yes, that is a complete list.... Here is a picture of mine installed. Crappy photo because I just took it with my iPhone in the garage. Furthermore my dealership significantly dropped the price to be competitive with the online stores. 574b3cd47cce792262695f04509df0b6.jpg

That's what mine has.

I'll contact my local dealer to see if they will be competitive. Thank you!

Do you still have your part number list?

My three USB ports in the front don't work which doesn't bother because I intend on turning that into the location for my off-road lights switch. The wiring harness comes with the console but you have to splice the old harness to the new harness. It's not a simple plug n play, however all the wire colors were the same so it wasn't hard to figure out

For the light inside the console compartment, you have to run the wire from the front 12v socket to have light anytime the lid is open.

Thank you everyone! I have a parts inquiry to my dealership. It seems like I would get bent over on shipping if I order online. :(

So it looks like my discount price from my dealer for all of these parts will still be over $700 :(

I ordered everything from GM Parts Headquarters for under $500 and about $40 shipping

Installed my console last weekend.I powered up my front usb ports instead of the ones inside the console since they are easier to access when you're driving. If anyone would like to do it this way it's really easy.Remove the entire harness from the jump seat and you will have the right plugs on that harness to plug right into the front usb's(plug and play)they charge and play music. .there is plenty of length to reach without cutting.then just splice the new console harness in to power up the 12v outlets and light in the console(I spliced everything in just because I was already into it and I want as much to work as possible. On mine all colors matched with the exception of the 12v+ but those are obvious since they just go to the 12v power ports. The white wire that doesn't match anything is for the light in the console, just connect to the 12v source of your choice .I expect that with the addition of the usb cable others have mentioned the usb ports inside the console could be used for charging if it was important to you.

Sorry for the long post.Hope someone can use it.
