Hey, I was wondering if there is a post with the Jet Black Interior Center Console. Since I've been looking for them everywhere and can't find the part numbers for them! Also, what do I have to do in order to install my center console? Maybe a Step post? If you guys could help me out, I would really appreciate it! Thanks!

The console only comes in Black or Cocoa.

The upper trim ring comes in multiple colors depending on your current accent color. WT's have jet black trim pieces while other models have contrasting colors. Unfortunately Jet Black isn't an option.

I found a way to get the USB ports at the front of the console to work(charge only) without disconnecting the ones inside the console. There is a brown USB connector on the front of the radio behind the screen. I modified cable P/N 19303285 to fit the socket on the console. I shaved off the corner of the black end to make it fit the socket on the console top USB port.

Ok. I have a White 2015 Silverado LTZ. With the Black Leather Interior. And I changed the panels to the Greyish color. So I'm just looking for the Black Center Console part numbers. I have a jumpseat in it. Which I will sell after I get a console in. But if you guys could help me get those part numbers I would really appreciate it! I think their is like 5 part numbers.

Look up several posts and those part numbers are listed. You'll need to match the trim from your doors if you'd like.

Just ordered the parts for mine this morning from gmpartsheadquarters.com.

The console arrived on Friday but i wasn't home and didn't get to look at it till yesterday. Unfortunately it was damaged. The boxed had been ripped open on one corner and looks like it was dropped pretty hard on the rear cover. the plastic clips that hold the rear cover on were broke and it looked like the side was dragged a bit. GMpartsheadquarters is great to work with. They already had the damaged unit picked up this morning and another one is due to arrive on Thursday. Great customer service.

Got mine in today finally. I used the jump seat harness to power the 3 port usb receptacle in the console rather than the ports inside the box. I guess the 3 port usb receptacle isn't Apple Car play friendly as it won't work. i took it apart and plunged in the two port from the jump seat and Carp Play worked.. Any ideas on how to fix this other than splicing/soldering wires?

Just bought my '16 Z71 yesterday but doesn't have console, it has a jump seat. Does anyone know if the 2016 is any different? I know a lot of these numbers from 2014 are discontinued now.

Well ordered my parts for my swap today. Damn that exchange rate hurts but it is going to cost me in the neighbourhood of $900 to complete. As far as the front USB goes, I'm actually planning on not using those at all and instead use the location to mount my AudioControl DQ-61 remote. Getting the side panel trim has been a real chore however, everywhere I tried to order online was either, would not shop to Canada, had one but not the other, or said they would have to back order it for me because apparently GM is out of stock. Wound up ordering those pieces through the dealer in the end.

You guys with the regular cab conversions, did you take out the middle belt or just let it hang? If you took it out, how much of a pain was it to remove that back plastic on the cab wall to remove it. Also does it hang any further back towards the rear wall than the jumpseat did?

All depends on what trim you want. For example I have the grand lace trim in my doors so I got the grand lace trim in the console.

I also have a 2015 and the part numbers I used were.

Yes this list is up to date and complete for parts numbers with the exception of the cord to get the three extra USB ports to work. Furthermore I have the exact same wood trim as you. It's called grand lace.

    • I'd change the fluid and start there.   198F is nothing for the 8L90.  They typically operate 180-200F stock.
    • Looking for help!   2019 GMC Sierra 1500 - 5.3l 4x4 8l90 61k miles - truck is in Arizona, was over 110 outside on Monday when this whole situation transpired. Never had any major issues with transmission until this point:   Truck sat outside my construction office for approx 1 hour idling before I realized, ran around the job site wrapping some things up for the day and then left. Went to get food and sat in the drive through for approx 30 minutes idling. As soon as I pull out of the drive through and onto the main road, rear tires lock up and feels like transmission fell out of the truck. Shifted to park, shut the truck off and tried again, same thing happened. Was able to reverse into parking lot (truck slammed into reverse). Let the truck sit turned off for 10 minutes before trying again, but it continued to happen. Towed truck back to my house. Highest the trans temps reached was 198.   Friday, after work I start looking into the situation. Truck sat in my driveway untouched all week. Truck is now driving like normal, transmission doesn’t get over 185 degrees when trying to heat it up. Got up to 60 multiples times with no issues, no issues accelerating, only down shifted hard into first one time at 185 degrees. Does anyone have any insight? Never through a code or a check engine light. Truck has never been used to tow either. No transmission services at this point.
    • Atlas won.   I know better, but I did it anyway. I took a compressed air line with a chuck and rubber tip and jammed it in the open EGR port. The port was clear as far as I could see, and as far as I could poke with a flexible wire, but that doesn't mean it's not clogged.   Compressed air blew back at me along with a cloud of black. Oops. I didn't have the rubber tip seated in there all the way. Jammed it up in there some more and squeezed the chuck. PSI was set to 120. Poof! It blew back at me again. Third time...pfffffttssssssspffffffsssfffffff, face full of carbon, and then, kind of a thud..and the air stopped spraying back at me. It was now exiting the exhaust with a low shhhhhh sound as it flowed through the pipe. Something broke free. I pressurized the port again, and air flowed.   Made my day.   Long story short on this problem, it's fixed. Something was really blocking the EGR passages down low, and compressed air blew it apart. I don't recommend this as who knows what debris was sent where. But it's allowed me to move forward, mentally, and onto the next problems I need to get this little S-Blazer going down the road properly again.
    • Your truck lowered, looks good. I'm happy with the stance on this. I may need the extra ground clearance given my location/situation.
