my wife refuses to own or drive one because of that. Hey VW was a result of hitler asking porsche to make a afordable line that all german could afford. So i guess you could say vw's father is Hitler.

Don't forget the zeros later in the war were built using American POWs as slave labor.

 

Little known fact: America deported some Jews to Hitler at his request. So did UK. Watch the documentary the BBC made on the concentration camps.

 

I have read some of the head guys at BMW tried to resist Hitler when they were told to build a specific race car.....but I believe they came around rather quickly when the SS showed up and told them they would.

 

I also think BMW was originally the builder of the engine for the first jet fighter but it failed miserably on first test, and someone else made the engine instead. Makes you wonder if they purposely sabotaged it.

Korean car seems to be the only ones that are not tied to any major atrocities. GM is ok if they did cut ties to opal
