Just finished the Roll X Bed Cover today. Very impressed with ease of install and clean look. Feels very durable.

 

Also threw on running boards that I picked up from ebay for 130.00 shipped! I was worried that they would stick out real far but the look great too.

if you have an instagram account go check out Arkansascustoms page. Thats where I got the LED bar behind the grille idea. The pic was taken about 7 weeks ago btw. The only difference from their build to mine will be that they used a rigid industries bar, imma use a more cost effective bar lol. Don't want to have to buy a larger wallet to be able to collect all the money I would need for rigid industries 40 inch $800+ bar. Truxtech.com has them for $355 and they use Cree LEDs as well. Also from Truxtech are the AUX reverse lights I'm thinking of getting. Imma get the pair of LED pods that have 2x10W LEDs in them. Totaling over 4,000 lumens. I'll be able to use them for work and for backing up the truck in the darkest of places.

Nice bro; that looks slick and blends in...doesn't look like it puts out much light, more of an "ambience" thing. Some of those trucks are wild; but I certainly can't drop the cash for rigid lights.

They won't. Visibility in camera increases... only side effect is the center of the beam pattern will sometimes appear to be odd colors instead of white-ish.

Installed an Extang Solid Fold tonneau cover. Impressed with the looks, quality, and simple design. I'll post a how to and full review in a separate post. Yes it was cold!

They won't. Visibility in camera increases... only side effect is the center of the beam pattern will sometimes appear to be odd colors instead of white-ish.

 

Why not white? Nitro has what I'm talking about mounted in his rear bumper steps that are activated when in reverse; I think I may have to copy.

My guess: the intensity (I have two Rigid Duallys under my bumper) and/or the wavelength of the light plays tricks on the camera...? I'm honestly don't know. I'll try to remember to take a pic later tonight.

 

 

As for lights in bumper steps, check the depth before buying anything. I have strobes in mine and they barely fit. You only have about an inch between the plastic and the truck bed.

I gave him a link to the same ones I bought, they fit just right. They come with a nut to tighten it once it goes through the plastic. I suggest use a rubber washer and it gets a little tricky to tighten it but it can be done. plasti dipping my remote white to match my truck. Did the same to the steering wheel Chevy sign and I'm thinking of doing some of the removable panels on doors and dash.
