NitroDatsik Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 just got done installing a billet Mesh grill insert, while I was at it I installed led strips between the grill gap. Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk Looks good other than the few lights being out. Like the grille insert a lot! Just out of curiosity, have you thought of putting an extended LED strip in the gap between the upper and lower grille? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk all the leds work lol, but you know those 2 plastic parts that divide it well that's what makes it look like that. I didn't realize that on the left side the strip is a little more to the right so you see the led that's supposed to be behind the plastic part. Yes I did thought about putting a bigger led strip but I already had this laying around. Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk

At first I thought it may have been intentional how they were but seeing that the 2 sides didn't look the same I thought some may have been out already. If I had a silverado I would probably do the same except look for abunch of individual LEDs that I could place in the gap and put switchback LEDs in the gap in the headlights. However your set up looks great! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My main concern was the billet grill install but since I had the grill off the truck I said why not. I'm going to look for other leds that match my putco g3 and install those. I looked for some for a similar purpose on my old Yukon but never found any that were meant as more than just interior accent lights. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

mcnwil Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Specs on those? And your headlight set up? Sent from my DROID RAZR HD I have the DDM HID kit for the headlights and put in the VLEDS 5K white 10 LED's in the fogs. Aaron1085 Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 How do you think those fogs perform? Atleast as useful as stock or no? Sent from my DROID RAZR HD

mcnwil Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 How do you think those fogs perform? Atleast as useful as stock or no? Sent from my DROID RAZR HD I think they are an improvement as it is more light and a white light. Not sure that it makes a huge difference to driving but it looks better. I did install the passenger side and left the driver side stock and lit them both up to compare and it is a noticeable difference in light output. I am upgrading to LED's in the house and finding the same improvements in light output and quality of light. 1
