I called Truckchamp and ordered me a Retrax RetraxPRO MX Retractable Tonneau Cover Black Aluminum 80461. The gal threw in a tailgate seal kit and I saved $274 from what it's listed at on their website. It is the new matte colored cover in standard rail. I was on the fence if I should get the pocket rails cut-outs for $30 more, but after calling Retrax and talking to the techs there, the outed 1/2 of the sierra's rear rail pocket is still exposed, enough to still get your hand in if you want something to grab onto while using the rear bumper in hop into the box. The wide rail option, covers the pockets completely and you can not get cutouts or have use of rear for grabbing on to..

I also called Orvis and ordered up the XL Deluxe Microfiber Car Hammock for my springer spaniel Daisy. It's 61" wide ( rear seat is 55") it has snaps that go around the rear headrests, cover goes down over seat, back up to the front seat headrests. We have the regular sized one on my wife's BMW 328 and it works great, keeps the leather seats clean from Daisy, but unsnaps quickly for passengers when needed.

What was your shipped price for the retrax?

I would not. I tapped into the the jumpers between the two stock horns and added the additional BadBoy Horn. Its definitely louder and changes the pitch but it is NOT double the noise level. For $30 it was worth the money and effort.

I went and had a tonneau cover put on my truck today. I was thinking how nice it would be if someone invented some sort of rod with a hook on the end, so that if you have luggage for example that gets pushed all the way to the front of the bed. You could use the hook to pull it to the back. That would eliminate having to unroll the cover or climb up inside the truck. Coming up with a rod should be easy. But somehow coming up with a way to attach it to the underside of the bed rail to keep it from rolling around in the bed would be the tricky part.

Could always just put a 2x6 into a set of the bed divider slats:

But, a stick with a hook should be an easy project too.

It is a pain when stuff winds up at the front though. I just slide in for now.

Could you have bought one to sound like an 18 wheeler and hidden it in there or would you have to do the big thing on the roof for that?

Installed the driver assist handle. I also got the Airaid MIT tube but since it's raining now and will rain tomorrow I will have to wait until Saturday after I get off work. Still waiting on the underseat storage for the rear seat but it should come in tomorrow so I'll put that in when I do the Airaid.

Well I did get the chance to install the Airaid MIT tube this evening after work. It was almost night though but I got it done and went for a test drive. I let it idle for a few minutes while I put everything up and then drove around including the interstate. I know I won't feel any HP gain (that is if it's even supposed to), but it did feel a tad better responsive. It could have all been in my head. It just felt less sluggish from a stop. Still the factory air filter that came on the truck. If anything it at least make the engine bay look better and less crowded. Will make it much easier to work on the belts and such. I know I'm keeping the stock air box but I'm not sure if I will need to switch it back to the stock one when I take it to get the oil changed under the maintenance warranty. Luckily I work at that dealership now so I can just let them do it while I'm there.

Now I will install the underseat storage under my back sit tomorrow after work.

Or you could just buy one of those grabbers that are used to get to things out of reach. Could also just bungee it to a tiedown hook towards the back so you won't have to reach for it.

I knew if they were available that someone on here would know about it. Thanks.
