thearizonacowboy Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 (edited) I recently installed Fox coilovers and later Cognito upper control arms to correct the bad angles seen here (lots of snap crackle pop too lol): Here's how it sits now: Complete set up: Install was okay. I had never done anything like it before, so I took my sweet time. It was exhausting but man was it fun. The wife unit was happy that we saved a little $$$ too lol. After all that, I installed a 2" block in the rear to give it a slight bit of rake (about 0.25") Edited June 1, 2016 by TheArizonaPatriot 3

thearizonacowboy Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 A rich man, not afraid to spend money on a depreciating asset ! J/K I actually got a great deal on all four shocks on eBay! Still a nice chunk of money and it's definitely not for everyone, but it makes me happy and I intend to keep the truck for a very very long time. 1
JimmyJ_123 Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 Yes Arizona money well spent. I have the same setup. i was referring to 361s post the mans truck. LSX motor $14,000 8in lift 35in tires 12in rims $5,000 Thats just for starters. Killer truck I must admit.
Kjz215 Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 I had the pleasure of discovering poor engineering on the center fold down seat cup holders. Not if, but when you spill something in the cup holders, it will drain out into the foam padding underneath the cup holders and under the storage area. Good luck 2
05cyclone Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 I replaced my roll-x cover with a bakflip vip. Had an issue with the original cover and it was replaced under warranty with the vip. I like it more vs the roll-x. 1

How much is the ride improved over stock in your opinion?

Ride is 10x better. I've done some aggressive off-roading recently and it's a completely different truck. I installed the shocks as they came to me but I got about 2.5"-2.6" of lift. I leveled it back out by installing a 2" rear blocks.
Scooter Scott Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 Scored a Chevy tri-fold hard tonneau cover for $250 3
CAS201 Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 Custom hitch cover. Found the guy online who does them. Individually makes them all by hand and is open to custom orders. http://www.kempterkustoms.com Added the LED headlights. Went with the H11 LED kit from http://www.xenondepot.com. Simple install and plug & play. Ordered the wrong Fog kit, so just waiting for them to arrive and they will all match. 6K color temp. 2
