Well finally took the plunge this morning and knocked out my color match. Bow tie comes in on Friday.

Just got the bumpers left. Pics below are when I picked it up from the dealership and this morning after the install.

Had to paint.  First I had to obtain parts that had been painted/primed already.  Then sent them off to get painted.  Finally reinstalled.

I'll get a good picture in the sun in a couple days.  Deep Ocean Blue Metallic.

Looks great man. I would leave the bumper chrome, kinda like the High Country.

Thank you.  I've been debating whether I want to do anything to it or not.  I plan on leaving it like this for at least 6 months.

Way easier on the rock chips!

From the black Friday sale, I got new rotors and pads from Powerstop.Got them installed today and hopefully broken in correctly. It was raining here and I followed their instructions. The truck stops. But the problem from the factory brakes I had was when getting off the interstate, it would shake the whole truck. I shall find out tomorrow on my way to work.

I did my headlight trim and grille. I left the bumper chrome. I actually like the look a lot better than having the bumper painted too.

I finally finished up the install of my JL center console stealth box. I have not disabled the active noise cancellation yet but I have yet to drive the truck with the sub working. So far that little 10 hits pretty good.

Put the Christmas Lights on!

This is the only time I wish this truck had a roof rack.  :)

Got my truck back from line-x. Had the full undercoating & rust remedy done. Also installed the rear air bags a couple weeks ago. 35c5933c971f5df8c46d84b7751ad9c3.jpg

The only thing that tripped me up, was I did not spot the screw that held the rotor on the front. There is a small torx 30 size screw holding it on. When the rotor did not jump off in my hands I bumped it a few times with a dead blow hammer. Still no movement. I then looked closer and found the screw. Other than that, I had to locate torque specs on this forum. They work great and are smooth!! Happy with that for sure!

Glad to hear. I’ll be changing the brakes myself soon for the first time on the truck and on any vehicle for that matter

You're probably hoping for something cool, but in reality...  It's just an extension cord in through the back door, plugged into the dash.

    • I understand that. The price is what it is, though. The price is what oil costs today, where our choices have led us, where supply is, and where demand is, in the market that is. Speculation is for futures, what we think the price will be, but with incomplete information at the time the price is forecast. I know you know this, but you appear to be intent on making a secondary point here about what you think the market could or should be, if only other choices.   In 1975 it became illegal to export US Crude. I'm conflicted on what the best answer is. Free markets allow export in pursuit of profit. But there is also a lot to gain by producing and consuming our own oil here. How do you reconcile it?
    • That sir is a choice. And even if it were not for all the reasons stated, this disruption has zero to do with the reality of the actual logistics and everything to do with the greed of SPECULATION. Spot price is irrelevant to reality.
    • What I think you're saying is there is supply here at home, and in Venezuela, and we could ease pricing if only it were favorable to do so.   Well, yes?   But that's not the current market. Supply isn't what could someday exist, if only, it's what producers are willing to produce and sell at a certain price point.   The national price of single family homes would come way down if we'd just slap together a few million homes this summer.   RAM and GPUs would get a lot cheaper if we just set up some factories to produce a bunch more and stopped using it to build out AI data centers.
    • The turn signal/multifunction switch is faulty.  I've seen a few of these go bad at work.
    • I am experiecing the same issue, I have gone in the setting and disabled rain sensing function but I am still experiencing this. Whe i use my turn signal they will redomly turn on. Anyone have any advice? . rain-sensing function, but I am still experiencing this issue Sometimes they stay on, and other times we swipe 2 or 3 times and stop. It's super annoying, especially after a fresh wash. When I use my turn signal, they will randomly turn on.
