i went with a retrax, but the diamondback was my other choice. only issue for me was being able to carry taller items in the bed.

Absolutely love it. Will hold up to 1400, to 1600lbs, extremely easy removal, plus you can access the bed from both front or back. You can easily carry taller items, you simply flip the front or back part over and just tie it down.

I had seen that. How well do the panels stay open? I was worried they would have a hard time staying up.

They are extremely good. Both the front and back have two hydraulic shocks each. Once you unlock, then easy open and stay open without any assistance. I have included the Diamondback website. You can also search on youtube, plenty of great videos on the item.

Finally installed my SR-M rigid led back up lights. Love the output on them. A buddy has them too and he moved them from truck to truck. $200 is a bit high but lifetime warranty is always nice. now to permanently install the switch
