Paint / Color matched Door Handles & Mirror Caps

Went to the dealer yesterday and talked to the parts manager about color matched door handles. Why is that they look at you like you are the only person in the world who doesn't want chrome handles. I gave him the VIN from the loaner truck he said that has chrome handles also, i said really they are painted silver like the rest of the truck. It really shouldn't be this hard.

What is the vin you used? I believe replacements come smooth and paint ready.

i used the VIN from a loaner truck that had painted handles. He told me that VIN had chrome handles.

i walked around the lot to find other trucks with painted handles. i might just call another dealer, maybe a different dealer would be more interested in helping me.

I typed in the part numbers in gmpartsdirect, and the number for the key bezel and the door handle kits were not found.

I just ordered the paint to match last week, roughly around $160 for all of the doors and mirror cap. Next up will be to have them painted (another $200ish) and then to put them on.

Fyi tonygreen on ebay.com has a set of handles and mirror caps in emereald green, handles in stealth grey, and handles in blue. I just bought a set of handles and mirrors in onyx black from him

Anyone know if 2014/15 mirror caps and handles from escalade and tahoe will for the sierra
