Lease and Incentives?

I'm working on a lease deal on a 2wd crew 1lt with the sport, convenience and , 5.3 options. I was quoted 34,843 on a truck with an msrp of 42150. Now the dealer is saying that the rebates and incentive do not apply to a lease, only the rebate of $750 for the sport package. Can someone help clarify if rebates or cash incentives apply to a lease?

Incentives sure do apply on lease's. Back in November when I leased my CC 4x4 1lt the msrp was 48k and change. Negotiated price was a hair over 40k with oval chrome side steps added. Lease rate is 1.5% for a 3 yr and GM paid first month of lease.Buyout is 22k.20,000kms per year. All lease's are negotiable.

I just spoke to the gm financial department and they confirmed the current incentive do not apply to a lease, only a purchase. So unless I find a dealer willing to play ball in so.cal I may be getting a Ram:(

The programs are constantly changing -- the trick is to find the truck you want and the incentive you want and the trade in value you want --- all at the same time.

Remember -- MSRP is just as it says -- manufacturers suggested list price. The fine print always says 'dealer may sell for less'. All items are negotiable, despite what the dealer/salesperson wants you to think.

Make them the offer you would be willing to deal at. The worst they can do is say no.

Keep in mind leases work differently in the US and Canada, meaning incentives and their application differ in each country...but you're right, it never hurts to make an offer.

Remember if u lease your married to it for 3 years unless u wanna pay 1000s in fees...

I tried to get out of mine cause of the sluggish 5.3

When I leased my 2014 I got $4000 in rebates specific to leasing. Some deals apply to leasing some apply to buying..

Hi 1BAD1500,

Yes, Imcrazy said it perfectly. There are rebates that are specific to customers look to purchase and customers that wish to lease their vehicle. If you have any questions or concerns, we are always here to help!

All the best,
