Thats about right..... Close to my 1/8th mile in my colorado.

Ok guys reviving the thread.... Bonus looks like its going to be very good and income tax is only a $500 that i have to pay...

Whipple or magnacharger??

I was set on the whipple but after seeing that the maggie was making 15hp less on 2psi less then the whipple idk anymore.

Are pully swaps on maggies easy? I know the whipple is.

The new tvs maggies are easy for a pulley swap, just four bolts, not the stupid single shaft bolt of my old mp112

With the whipple making just 15hp more at 2.9L vs the Maggie i think is a 1.9 right??

Also out of the box the whipple it at 8 or 9psi i think.... Maggie is a 6psi.

That makes the Maggie more efficient but the whipple more capable in the long run.

BBP offeres a TVS2900 upgrade when you buy the kit from them.

Pros of the whipple ia that i can use my airaid CAI with it lol

If you are not chasing hp you really can't beat the 1900, it is great for 6psi on these motors, right in its efficiency band. The Whipple can flow enough air to put holes on your pistons.

Sounds like i want the whipple lol... All i want is the dyno to say 500hp to the wheels. I will ne happy with that.

Already have 1 7/8 headers and a 3" catback so a mild blower cam and a pully swap maybe 7 or 8 psi i think i will hit it....

Hopefully...... With my luck ill hit 520s and want 550 after that and blow it up!!

Any links to the maggie pullys?? Whipple has it right on their site easy to find and buy.

Does the maggie whine?? I love me some whine.... Not like KenneBell mamoth.... Just so u know something is under the hood.

I don't have any links to the maggie pullies. The 1900 can whine when you pulley it down, both even then it's much quieter than the whipple.

Here is a good video of what the whipple sounds like

The 400hp claims are what get me tho. I have seen several 5.3 with bolt ons and a cam get that.... Can i expect 500 with those mods plus the supercharger?

It's better most of the time to go with the smaller blower and pulley down to up the boost, more responsive (snappy) and more efficient.
