yep, color not the best choice . like the fact it will come with a little longer bed now. did you see the ext cab chevy? other then a place to keep tools safe and dry that space was useless.

I fell into that group of people that would of been happy with a crew cab Colorado when I bought my 07. GM priced them way to close to full size ext cab. Plus mpg about same for city driving and the bed to short.

Speaking of short beds. I was at menards the other day a saw a f150 ext cab short box truck. Other then ordering for fitting in a garage why. I think the hood was longer than the bed

Chevy made an ext cab short short bed.

 

I did see them at the Chicago autoshow. The canyon was really nice

Awe the old door war memories. '99 and early '00 models were 3 doors. They started the 4th door in early '00 as an option and by 2001 4 doors was standard.

Watch the 3 door 99-2000s if the truck has ever seen salt. My old truck and almost all others of that era I see are rusted through behind the drivers door where the 4th door would be.

That's a Crew Cab extended cabs became available in the GMT400  in 1996 as a 3 door.
