2012 18" Aluminum Wheels Corrosion.

The 18" Aluminum Wheels on my 2012 HD are already peeling around the center hub. I have meticulously maintained the wheels and wash weekly. Granted I have just completed 3rd winter with salt exposure, but I am really anal with the wheels. Are these wheels really junk?

seems as so... my 2010 wheels were horrible, and I see many newer trucks at work (12 and 13) that look bad.... I just went aftermarket

Yes I think are low quality. If you didn't already I would make sure you take the wheel weights off.. They will ruin your rims

I had the stick on interior weights put on when truck was delivered. Just frustrating that I take such good care of wheels and they are already peeling.

They are covered under warranty, get new ones from your dealer, others have.

Mine have held up okay aside from damage caused by the hacks at Discount Tire. They scuffed one flange and also hammered on steel wheel weights instead of the proper ones for aluminum wheels so I'm sure those areas of the wheel have been ruined.
