Seriously though; I have yet to hear a toyota truck owner complain about their truck. So its either a good buy, or puts people in denial. I've never been a fan of they way they look, so I guess I'll never know which it is.

Other than the stated gas mileage issue you are less likely to have issues with a Yota imo. Not that all GM's are bad are that a Toyota will never have a problem but I think that your odds are better for reliability in a Yota. Best of luck !

Well I think you may have fixed the issues with your GM truck, but I fear you have just opened up a whole new box one issues with that Tundra. But best of luck none the less.

I really like the look of the Tundra but the gas milage and open "C" channel frame is what strayed me away but on the bright side it probably makes it ride much nicer then new GM trucks.

Good luck with the tundra. I ditched mine because they wouldn't do anything about the horrid bed shake at highway speeds.

I do like the reliability of the tundra but the gas mileage and the inside is terrible. It will take some time but i think gm will work all the bugs out. Mine still has some issues but man I love this truck. The looks are awesome and the fuel mileage is great.

 

Problems -

Heated seats inop. Taking to the dealer on friday for the 3rd time

My driver side seat seems to move a tiny bit when I brake and turn

My radio sometimes when using the steering wheel controls will say no favorites found

The carpert on the driver side has a noticble defect in it. Almost looks like a line but missing carpet in that area

 

Things fixed

Steering wheel leather coming up beside the airbag

Heated Seats fixed once - Broken again

 

My dealers great so far. They dont argue and fix what I ask. They even washed my truck 2x and filled it up 2x for the problems.
