I do have the 5.3. I wouldn't say I noticed any stress on the truck when I switched tires.

My gas mileage is another story, I now average about 16 mpg. I was getting closer to 19 mpg stock pre level and 33" tires.

I'm not complaining, I'm very happy with my truck.

Same here on the mpg hit after going to Nitto Grappler G2 305/55-20's 33.5x12" tires. Hope to get 1-2 mpg back after a DiabLew tune. No complaints here either. Love truck and look.

After tune let us know if you see an increase in MPG. I'd like to get some MPG back as well.

Good luck with getting 1-2 mpg back. If anything you might loose that after the tune. Not complaining on my lew tune, but you won't help stepping more on the pedal. The diablo tuner does have a tune for economy though which I been wanting to test out when I ever I get around it.

I gained about 1 mpg back with a canned 91 Diablo tune. Now that it's winter and I'm remote starting a lot is tough to verify. I'm hoping it's closer to 2 mpg. I lost about 3 with 275/60R20 Duratracs.

The problem is after the tune all you want to do is drive hard hahaha.

In the summer I average 17 mpg. On my mostly rural commute. Live in a hill town it's about a 1800 ft elevation change from home to work about 25 miles away. I have the Diablo intune running 87 octane tune. Tires calibrated correctly and AFM turned off. I lose almost a 1 mile per gallon in winter.

I can get 21-22 mpg on the highway over along trip. I am also running duratracs 277/65r 20

My truck is 2wd.,When I pull back felt, full turn lock, my tire barely cleared the metal. On mine zip tie wouldn't have done much. I was stuck between the Fuel Maverick D538 (black with machine accent) & D537 (machine face with black lip. Went with 538 and just ordered some Anzo ubar headlights in black. Will be putting HID bulbs in low beams. Swapping out my all chrome grill for chrome with black overlay and black bow tie. Ill be switching out the gold tail gate bow tie to black as well. (the little things, ha). Choosing these black rims gave me a few more ideas. I'll post a pic when installed.

Posting an updated pic of my front end facelift that was inspired by my new rims. I'm really happy with it. All took about an hour to take apart and put back together.

Anzo u-bar headlights (4k/55 watt phillips ultravision HID bulb swap, almost went brighter but didn't want to be that jerk that blinds people in cars in front of me)

Black overlay on grill.

Plastidipped bowtie emblem.
