Nope just the upper is necessary unless you go full mid travel which pushes track width out in the front but that replaces both upper and lower arms. Angles still look great on the lower arm and the truck only has 3500 miles on it.

I was thinking about replacing the factory with a pair of Moog balljoint just for peace of mind and the ability to grease them. Figured it was easier while half the suspension is already apart rather than having to do it all down the road.

 

Also did you install any diff spacers or a drop?

No spacers or drop. I'm ok with the cv angles but will keep an eye on it.

I guess it would be the right time to install lower ball joints but the spindle doesn't have to come off to install any of this. I did the upper arms with the factory struts out then the kings slid right in after the arms were on.

Where is everyone getting there tpms sensors/stems from?

eBay! Found some brand new for 60 bucks.

 

Finally, here is my contribution to the this thread.

 

Bilstein 5100s at max lift.

Method Grid 17x8.5, 0 offset.

Nitto Ridge Grappler tires 295/70R17

Gorilla spline lugs

 

Slight rubbing at full lock/reverse. This set-up would rub pretty bad offroad, fyi. I ziptied the fender liner back to give a little more clearance.

 

She sits fairly level! So far the nittos are doing great and the bilstein shocks were a huge upgrade over the Z71 ranchos.

Looks great!

 

I still have no idea what to do. One day it's Fox 2.0's/17" Methods/33's and the next it's a BDS 6" with coilovers/20's/35's. All over the place.

Was rubbing the fender liner towards the cab mount/ firewall at full lock.

 

It will most definitely rub the cab mount during wheel travel/suspension flex you'd see offroad. Would bet also contacting the firewall on both sides and ebrake cable conduit on the driver side.

 

This set up is fine for the mall and light wheeling. Anything extreme you'll need either smaller tires or you'll need to do some clearancing mods.

Due to the 0 offset I'm guessing? That tire measures about 33.3 inches and others have run 33s with a level without rubbing.

 

I'm wondering if I would have the same issues with 2.5-2.75"of lift/level in the front and 1" in the rear running that tire.

So new guy here, first post.

 

Just got my 20x9 Fuel Mavericks with 1 offset installed with a 295/55/20 Ridge Grappler. I have the 2 inch front RC level with stock suspension. And it rubs at about 75% turn right and left. More rub seems to come when I turn the wheel left both front and reverse. Its rubbing at the bottom of the felt liner beside the plastic trim bolts. Not sure if I went with a 14 offset if that would eliminate the rub. I did so much research that I thought I was safe. Guess not.

 

Don't really want to cut into my truck. Is there metal behind the felt and trim bolts?
