Supercharged 2014 with 6.2l... Anyone do it yet?

Basically the 6.2 is the LT1 that is in the Corvette. They did the Corvette LT1, so they have done the L86 also. I'm sure it isn't that different.

The blower will most likely be the same for the 6.2 as in the 5.3. The cars get a larger blower than the trucks.

Yes the blowers for the 6.2 and 5.3 are usually the same one. Many companies use the Magnusson tvs 1900 roots style blower.

A 5.3 on e85 could easily step down pully size for substantial gains. I wonder what kept GM from going flex on 6.2?

From what I hear, the stock fuel system (pump) couldn't keep up with E85 on the 6.2. Now they probably have some more strict criteria the system needs to meet that we don't care about so I'm guessing one could make it work on a 6.2 N/A. Of course without alcohol sensors one would need to be really strict with the tune and sticking to the same fuel.

 

One guy tried it with a blown 6.2 and it just didn't work.

Manny at Dasilva Motorsports can help you out. I already got a quote from him. I also believe that SPI PERFORMANCE in Oakville might have something and then there is champion motors in Toronto. All of these places have supercharged many vehicles and are very capable of doing the job but none have done the new 6.2 yet.

We just picked up an escalade built by slp its pretty quick, not as quick as I expected but pretty quick.
