Yup. We came to a deal, and now I am awaiting confirmation that it does run on 91 pump gas. He only drives around town so I'm sure that's the case. It would be odd to have a pleasure car that only got gas at 2 places in town and had a 140 mile range.

Thanks everyone! Needs some cleaning, I'll be on that soon, probably going to put on the new grille before I take new pics.(68 grille is black, 67 is silver, he had just bought a 68 grille)

 

I had some guys on crotch rockets I was afraid were going to wreck while checking it out on the highway. They had on GoPro or similar, so I'm probably on YouTube. They waved me to pass so I did a mild pass, and then they blew past me a minute later. At an intersection some younger girls had an absolute, literal, screaming fit over it, yelling and screaming. Pulled in to get gas and a woman flipped out so bad over it some people were laughing at her. UPS guy waved at me, most people in trucks stare or wave. Same with bikers. Young guy or boys love it. Few neighbors are jealous. The others are scared.

 

Almost got T boned ONE HOUR after I picked it up by an oblivious old woman in a lancer making an illegal u turn. She HAS to be partially blind and deaf. If you are in it for an hour, your ears need a good 15-20 minutes to adjust back to normal life.

 

I got a cruise video. I can't really get on it much, it hits illegal velocity too fast, so when I get around to posting it you'll get only hear me get on it for a few seconds at a time.

 

My wife's first words during her first ride was "you are going to be in SO MUCH Trouble with this!" I can control myself, already been around a few police cars in it, and well, I'm here aren't I?

Some shots of a few details. The wheels are pretty nice, 18", the car is lowered a few inches, combine that with 4" exhaust and its LOW, and time for a new sign.

The air cleaner sits up that high, have to have a hood with that much clearance. It looks much better in person, I HATED the hood when I first saw the pics. When you see it in person, it flows a lot better, and when you open the hood, you understand why it's there. You see the motor and want to do the Tim Taylor grunt.

 

 

 

The wilwoods and non power brakes, with a stock master cylinder sure makes things interesting. At first you think your going to die, and then once you figure out what seems like 1 inch of travel with a brick wedged behind the pedal, you stop pretty quick. I was told a matching wilwood master cylinder makes a world of difference. Its on the list.
