Add a circuit...

I looked everyplace yesterday for an "add a circuit" for the 2014s. I found ATO and ATM but could not find any for ATK or the three bladed ATM size fuses. I was trying to hard wire my radar detector to the fuse box and ended up pushing a pin/wire in the back of the driver's side fuse box X3 plug... didn't want to cut and splice so that was my best option.

Anyone have any luck finding add a circuit for the new trucks?

I have the manual that's how I decided which wire/plug to back wire... was looking for something like this...

This is an ATM/mini fuse size, they also make them in ATO/regular fuse size... the 2014 trucks have ATK.micro fuses and a 3 bayonet ATM sized fuse that I have yet to find in any auto parts store. Was hoping someone on here had found either an add a circuit for the ATK or the three bayonet fuse. I'm set for now but would like a better option when I try to install additional USB connectors in the overhead for the GoPro dash cam.

I don't think that will work either... the three bayonet fuses appear to be double fused... if you look in the fuse panel it will list them as "HVAC/ALDX HVAC IGN (15A/15A)"

These micro fuses are something I haven't seen in anything other than 2014s

Just found this chart... Micro 2 and Micro 3 fuses... and the designations are ATR and ATL

I ran into that exact same issue with the fuse size when I was adding a radar detector and a remote turn-on for my stereo. I ended up buying an ATM Mini add-a-fuse/circuit and trimming the metal spades down to the size of the micro fuses used in the 2014 trucks. I was a little nervous about making a messy cut or amputating the tiny little spades of the add-a-fuse, but it went pretty easily with a pair of aviation snips and a little filling to clean it up. I did buy a spare in case I messed up my 1st attempt, but didn't need it.
