Can we get sme specs on this truck?

I see you say the wheels were factory take-off 18" powdercoated.

Im happiest with my truck, but that truck is probably one of the best looking I've seen. Has it been lowered? I like it better before you put the Nittos on. Those Yoko Geolanders look excellent.

What engine and transmission do you have? Is it a 1500?

They are factory 18" wheels that I had powdercoated.

Not in this picture, but I've since had the rears widened an inch to 9.5". Running 305/45R18 Nittos 555R in the rear.

I've since rid myself of the Yokos. Worst traction I've ever experienced in a tire. I'm going back to a factory height tire. Hoping Toyo Proxy ST IIs have better traction than the Yokos

Truck has a 3"/6" drop using Belltech drop spindles & flipkit. 5.3/6A/3.42.

why gm will not put in the 6.2 in the regular cab is stupid it would be a game changer

I have a new thread asking the same question. I would have loved to have the option.

Shopping for a 6" lift. Have just the leveling kit at this time. Wanted to put a few more miles on it to make sure everything was good. 18,000 now. Hope to go up to 35's.

They are hard to find nicely equipped but they are out there. I have the 5.3, 4:11's, 8" touch, rear defroster, split bench, bed lighting. The only option I could not find was the leather wrapped dash the LTZ's have. I went to the chevy website and put in the specs I had to have then searched all of America for my truck. Found 3 of them, this one turned out to be 4 hours away. Pretty much worked the deal over the phone.

Im not sure why people think these 5.3 are low on power. This is one of the quickest trucks I have driven. I also own a super charged corvette. This truck is not slow nor does it have low throttle response. It is faster then most of the small cars I have found. My wife loves how powerful it is when passing other cars. Has noticeably more power then the identical truck in a 2010 model.

My guess is the people complaining about bad performance are driving a 4 door with 3:08's or some other bad combination.
