Thanks, man.

No motor upgrades yet besides an intake tube and muffler.  I'm going to do a Whipplecharger and maybe long tube headers and call it a day.

Id skip the headers and just remove the 3rd cat.  Theres a dude in town with arh headers with cats, biggest magnaflow muffler and a resonator and its obnoxiously loud still

Thats awesome.I just installed a 2.9 whipple and Bryan Tooley stage one blower cam. I am anxious to drive it but I haven't been able to get it up to the dyno to get it tuned yet. It's a 2014 but I put a 16 led front end on it. I have it in the builds section.

That's what I was afraid of.  Maybe I'll just throw some shorty headers on there like I did with my old. truck.  I really like the way my exhaust sounds right now, so I'm even hesitant to gut the 3rd cat.

I love the look of the single cab trucks. That is a nice setup.

Nice ... how trucks were built before they became four door sedans... like my wife’s 2017 four door Silverado ... which is great for grocery shopping .

Nice shell, how does it drive on hwy , I’d figure it the additional weight would make it more stable. Looks amazing brother !

Hey Jp sierra...

I do like your lift and Sierra color...

The Leer Topper is about 225lb which appears to add a bit more cornering traction and stability in winds..

Also,, Don't require any sandbags for winter driving in Iowa.

I did notice some wind buffeting noise between back of cab and topper on Interstate drives but its worth it for the extra dry storage..

Just crank up the Tunes....

This weekend, installing my Hellwig adjustable rear sway bar so,, should be more fun in corners...

Thanks for that info, I’m so leaning on a camper shell .. I would like to add a rear sliding window, I haven’t been able to find one with rear defrost with a  manual window

Hey Jp...

Prior truck was 96 Tahoe with great / dry storage area for camping & fishing equipment..

Now its just me and GF so topper was necessary..

Keep searching for rear defrost window,, I would think aftermarket / custom may be available..

Have you thought of adding insulated HVAC-flex-tubing from one of your lower heater vents to push warm air to window??

Could be cheap and easy fix for basic slider..

Thanks for that advice , I would just like to keep the defrost function that came with the vehicle , just swapping it with a manual rear sliding window with the heat elements .  I’ve found several manual sliding windows but without the defrost elements... and the as for the top , I can see how useful it would be out at the fishing hole and at the beach .. and keeping my gear out of the elements would be great... I’ll look into one... it reminds me of my 1989 K5.
