Hi, guys, new member with questions

Hi, just bought a 2014 Chevy crew cab ltz with every available option,, couple things that I noticed and anyone please chime in if they have the problem also,

1. Auto start does not turn on heated or cooled seats, and yes it is programed to do so on the infotainment system.

2. when I tag a song to transfer to an ipod, it does not do that, I have tried a ipod touch version 1 an 4 and nothing will transfer.

3. the 110 volt plug on the dash, is it good for anything? it has never worked

any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance, Rick

The only one I can answer is about the 110 volt plug. It's the same as the 12 volt cig lighter plugs. The ignition has to be in the "on" position, doesn't matter if it's running or not.

yes, I had it running and tried it, and the green light came on and went right out and hasn't worked since, I have 9k on it already and its going in next week, to see if they can figure these things out, a friend bought the same rig and all that works on his.

Definitely warranty work it sounds like for 1 and 3. Haven't tried the tagging so I can't say on that one.

How big of a load did you try to put on the 110v plug?

Have the same truck. Thought I had the same problem, however: auto start with a/c seats they do not come on full blast and no lights will come on to confirm. You can hear the seat fan running it as on low. As for the heated seats I bought mine in August live along the gulf coast and have not ran the heater or heated seats to warm the truck.

Ive used the 110v for a few things including (what I expected not to work) quick charging a 20v battery pack for cordless impact. Worked like a champ... one of those proud truck papa moments. learned to take what i can get on the infotainment
