Opinions: 14+ Silverado Grill and Headlight Idea...

Had a little bit of time and like always I'm bored with the truck and wanted to venture out on a custom project. I've always loved the open mouth grill design (still wish I would have landed the All-Terrain) but I like the new honeycomb grill design so I'm considering doing some major grill modding. Also entertaining the idea of clearing out the headlights, getting the bezels chromed and keeping the reflectors for a more OEM look...or ditching them for the "modded" look....opinions? bash / applaud away...

Seems so minor that only you and a few other "enthusiasts" would notice. Certainly, one of our women wouldn't notice. I don't stare at my truck that long. So, I'd say do what makes you happy, if for no other reason than you like to do it. BTW, I'm not a fan of the honeycomb. I'm more into a bar style grill.

I like the way it looks in any form...but if I was choosing I like the 3rd pic with the cleared side markers. Looks clean!

No matter what you do to the grille, nothing will change the fact that your newest wheel and tire combo is horrid. You should take them off and send them to me.

 

In all seriousness, I would leave the grille alone and clear the headlights. Call it done after that.

I think take the money and time you were going to spend on the mods and put it into driving the truck. Take a trip or two in it.

Agree. painted stock grill looks good.

 

clear the corners if you want to, looks great on a white truck.

i like the first 2 alot but the 3 is a bit to much for my taste
