Hi all. First post. I bought my 2014 1500 3 days ago. Went out to drive it the next morning and the tpms was not working. The page on the dash that shows tire pressure showed no reading in any of the tires. I checked them and they were all between 34.5 and 36psi. I,ve driven it about 150 miles and no change. I have searched through this forum and havent found anything reguarding this condition. Anyone have any thoughts before it goes back to the dealer? Thanks in advance for any help you might have.

You need the dealer or a tire shop to reset the TPMS's Prolly just got out of sync with the trucks computer for whatever reason.

Thanks for the quick reply. Looks like i'll be going back to the dealer.

I've heard disconnecting the battery for s few minutes works in this situation. Otherwise head to a place like discount tire or the dealer. DT usually does stuff like that for free.

Just a follow up, I went to my dealer today (Concord Chevrolet) and they reset the tpms and all's fine. It took about ten minutes. Cudos for the dealer. Thanks for all the quick responses!

Without disconnecting the battery I know you reset them by putting it on the tire pressure page and then hold the select button (middle button with a check sign on the right of the steering wheel) until it resets (you'll hear a beep). You have to do it everytime you rotate the tires and of course when putting new tires on.

Just for future reference.

I'll have to write that down so I so I can reference it in the future. Thanks SSguy85.

Ha I didn't realize til you shortened up the name that it also said SS.

And no problem. I'm pretty sure that's all the dealer did.

Did you ever find a solution for this? I’m having the same issue where no tool is working to reset my sensors. The truck is a year old.

I have a 17 silverado, about 182000 on it. My drivers front TPMS quit working than a short time later drivers rear and passenger front, I recently had a rotation done and my passenger rear is still the only one working, I would have thought if the sensor is bad in the wheel that once wheel was moved to the front then it would show and the pass rear would be out. Is there another sensor on the hub assembly or close to the break system that could be out. I don't want to spend the money on new TPMS if that's not the issue.
