You have a truck made of Reynolds Wrap (okay, that might be a tad harsh), and the oil pan is what is getting you. What about the fact that the insurance companies have no idea how much it'll cost when one gets to the body shop? We still don't know what kind of premiums we're in for, but the whole thing sounds a bit scary for any of the lab rats who adopt it first.

The one piece sliding rear window? Suppose to be quieter. But can imagine it like the body panels will be pretty expensive to replace if ever needed.

That is funny! Actually like how they look oddly enough. Well the tail gate still looks odd to me. But if anyone thinks the GM trucks are getting expensive, Ford has a whole new level of expensive with the 2015's. Am sure GM/Ram will join in. $60+ thousand for a gas crew in the upper two trim levels is beyond insane.

These trucks might be good for a few years but they're just so tin canny for the long run. Even a '12 or '13 that's parked next to me right now looks and feels like a tin can. I opened and closed the hood on it and it felt like it was going to fall apart, especially the attached grill. A huge departure from my solid gmt800 in general.

And regardless, if I'm going to own a truck its going to be a GM. I don't have a doubt about that.

I talked to my body guy yesterday. He said due to the cost of everything, they won't be doing any serious work on the new F150s. Ford actually recommends a whole separate work area, apparently it's easy to contaminate the aluminum or something.

I saw my first new f150 on the road today. It was a block away from home and it looked like a king ranch or platinum, although I couldn't tell if it had the eb logo or not.

It's odd that I drive by a Ford dealership every day and I've never even seen the new ones on display yet.

Guys, with all due respect and love for my sierra , they have been number 1 seller for long time now. So iam sure it's been tested to withstand the heat you talk about

#1 seller only because GMC and Chevrolet are considered separately.

Got a brand new (80ish miles) 2015 F150 as a rental this week. Once I spend a bit more time with it I'll write something up like I did with my 2015 Silverado and Ram rentals.
