BLACK BOX ON SCREEN IN BLUETOOTH AUDIO MODE

I have a 2014 GMC sierra all terrain in bluetooth audio mode the screen has a black rectangular box on the left side, but on all the other modes "xm screen, normal radio screen" the box isnt there. Is this common or should i bring it in?

Ya my truck has that too. I'm pretty sure I read on another thread that it is normal even if it looks out of place.

I don't think that's on mine, I'll check in 30 mins when I'm heading home from work. I usually use spotify while I'm in the truck so I feel like I'd remember. I'll check either way bud.

Not on mine, kind of hard to see it it. It was getting dark, turned a light on and used the flash. But yea it's not on mine.

well that is odd im going to bring it in sometime this week and see what they say about it... also how did get it to save the station name and not number?

I think I read somewhere that the favorites station names was something they added to the 15's instead of showing the number.

I have that box on my '14 GMC as well. Definitely looks out of place but I always thought it was normal. If you do get it checked out let us know what they said.

^^this could be it. I know there is album art for all the songs on spotify, and that's what I was using when I took the pic. I've never seen the art pop up ever though, it always looks just like in the picture. Haven't tried to play anything from the iPod yet, now I'm curious lol.
