I think I read somewhere that the favorites station names was something they added to the 15's instead of showing the number.

It's a setting under the home screen to name your presets. Has been available since the 14 launch

usb only works with apple ios correct?

I'm not sure, I've never tried with any other products.

I tried the far left usb below the dash with my iPhone and usb earlier. Turns out I haven't added any music to the phone yet beyond spotify. Does it matter witch usb I try this on though? I think I've got 5 total ..

I use the one of the USB's in my middle console. I don't think it should matter though. I don't use spotify on my phone so I can't speak to how that works for my truck. Try pandora out.

You guys always crack me up haha. Anyways, all the USB ports in the truck will stream music through it, even from multiple devices. You can literally have 2 or more phones hooked up and it will show the music from all of them, on the USB source under MEDIA. With a browse button. Now this is for the music that is saved on the phones not for any apps.

On my truck all my audio apps show a browse button on the screen and not that black box, so I would say either there is an issue with your phone not giving permission to let the truck browse your media, or there is something wrong with the HMI pulling the info. I use an iPhone so not sure if that makes a difference. Also most of my music whether it is from my phone memory or from my SD card show the album art.... but not every song. This has more to do with how the files were setup. On most of my music I added album art to the file info on my computer. Like on this vid:

Hope that helps

It even shows album art when playing through bluetooth? And I use a galaxy s5 not iPhone.

I've got an extra external 1TB I back my library up to as a precaution. Going to try plugging it in to see what all I can do with it. Doubt the movies will play, I'd say photos and music will be a go though. There's ~150 gigs of music, hoping the truck doesn't freeze up lol.

Lol is kinda my thoughts on it, but hey it's worth a shot I guess.

Just looked over the owners manual if media had a limit, and apparently you only run into issues after 8000 files, but only concerns using the voice prompts.

However averaging 5 mb per file, that's still only 40 gigs.

I say either your infotainment will take a dump, or it will be cataloging songs for an hour every time you select media source. [emoji106]

Well they said it was normal to have that box there doesn't make sense to me but I'm not going to argue either with them
