USB ports in center console unresponsive/dead?

My apple CarPlay USB ports in my center console stopped working. I get a message: to use this gray, connect supported device to USB.  My ports have been working. I have tried everything but change the ports out.

2014 SLE. My USB from center console only charges my Iphone. It will not play the content and has been this way a while. I just use the bluetooth hook up. Radio has always been glitchy in it.

Thanks, my Bluetooth works fine but the center console usb is my Apple CarPlay connection point.

The center console port in my 16 stopped working.

Ordered a new one, swapped it out and never had a problem again.

 

It is a pretty easy task, ordered one from GMPartsdirect.com.

So, after reading a few posts it seems I'm S.O.L. on my center console USB ports working again. I have 2018 Silverado & they just quit working this morning when I stopped at the store. Any updates how to solve this problem?

Good morning, i have an 18 Silverado with a 5.3 i bought recently and after getting home noticed the USB ports nor the cigarette lighter plug work in the arm rest. The one below the Radio does work. I've checked the fuse and it's good. I know you changed your usb out but I wanted to ask if your cig. plug wasn't working either

Everything else worked fine, just the USB in the center console was failing.

I have a 2021 GMC Sienna and the USB ports that are under the middle console and the two in the back of the console are not working.. Has anyone found the reason why? Or even had this same problem? Thanks

Those are largely controlled by the BCM behind the glove box.
Check the black and blue connectors - unplug and re-seat.
Maybe helps?
