Finally recieved my winch and took a stab at wrapping my chrome grille, its not perfect but overall im really happy with it and it only cost me $50 and a couple hours. No more chrome left on my truck!

Keep us posted with your evaluation of the new lighting system. Maybe you can take pics before and after to gage improved light output?

 

The lights at least look good, and everything seems to be working correctly.. I have yet to drive at night, so I'll add some feedback once i do.

Neither photo below accurately shows light output bc of the adjustment that the camera makes, but stock bulbs give way more long range light projection than the LED's. I would not recommend these things at all. I'll be looking into HID's.

I'm running Oracle LED (5000k) kit for my high and low beams.

The visibility on the lows is somewhat improved, but nothing earth shattering. Still, anything is better than stock. Especially looking over your fenders.

The high beams is like God just said "let there be light". Holy donuts, batman!

I really didn't have a problem with my stock bulbs... I just wanted something whiter in color. I think I'm gonna try silverstar Ultras before I look into an HID kit.. I'll take a look at those LEDs too
