I guess Ruger is making sure even ignorant people can find what they're looking for.

Now that is a good one!

I carry my Springfield XD .45 Mod 2. I love the gun, always spot on. I have put through 1000 rounds or in the past 8 months i've had it and it's never once jammed. I also put trijicon night sights on it.

Then we have my bedside home defense pistol...8b3e2b6a27fd36bf60e747de65b49120.jpgSig P320 (Full size) w/ Apex Flat-Faced Action Enhancement Trigger & Streamlight TLR-3...Amazing gun.

I love my Glock, but once I have the compact kit for the P320, I'll have to think long and hard about which gun I want to carry...its that good.

Went back to carrying my Gen4 Glock 17 with Ameriglo suppressor sights, a Trijicon RMR and aSurefire X300 Ultra. Before that was my Nighthawk Custom GRP Recon with 10-8 sights and a Surefire X300 Ultra.

Well, to be clear...the P320 is the only Sig I'd put in the same category with the Glock...striker fired, polymer frame.

I like to say the P320 is like a Glock and a Sig had sex and this was the result. Sig took its best features and combined them with the best features of Glock.

Comparing both guns in the stock form:

Sig trigger is way better. I think the Sig grip is better...although the finger grooves on the Glock don't bother me, the absence of them on the Sig makes it feel nicer. I also like the mag release on the Sig a little better. The serations on the Sig slide are nicely done and give you great grip. The Glock is a bit slimmer so I feel it works a bit better for concealment.

Where I think the Sig P320 really outshines the Glock is modularity. Take down is so simple...no tools required and the one piece trigger assembly is the "gun" so you can easily convert from full size to compact, 9mm to 40, etc... simply by pulling out the trigger group and dropping it into a different frame/slide combination.

This capability is one of the main reasons Sig was awarded the contract to replace the Beretta M9 as the new Army service pistol (and probably sister services as well) .

P320 is the platform for the new (although it's been in the works for 10 yrs) Modular Handgun System (MHS) for the Army. It's a fantastic platform and will likely get flowed down to the other services.

Air Force will likely use it, MARSOC decided on Glock. I don't know if the navy uses the M9 currently. I know the special forces use the 226.

I meant for the majority of the soldiers. Special forces, CIA, FBI excluded. The MHS replaces the Beretta.
