Does recalibrating BCM affect a tune

Just had the bulbs replaced in my truck and they did what is called a BCM recalibration. Just wondering if this affects a tune ? Sorry if this is a crazy question but I'm new to tuning?

Just wondering because had a tranny tune and the truck just feels a little more sluggish but it might just be in my head

No it doesn't, they are all separate computers.

I could be wrong, but I thought the transmission update affected the ECM along with the BCM, and the ECM is where your tuning changes live. Every time the dealer has done a software update I take my tune out in advance, then put it back in when they are done.

TCM update has no bearing on the ECM or BCM, but that also depends if GM slipped changes into the ECM when then setup the TCM update.
