Stabilitrac Issue from lift or tires

I have my corrected for my tire size. I have the In tune, I actually had to set the tire size to 33.5 to get the speedometer correct, setting to the actual tire size of 35 was still off.

I have never used a tuner, will it allow you to select a metric size?

It allows you to set tire size by either diameter or xxx/xx/xx. I picked diameter because my tires just say 35x12.5x20.

ever use this website? Choosing metric could get it more close to actual size. I'm just guessing of course. And mine say 35/12.50R20 as well.

35x12.5x20 should be 318/60/20

No that would be correct only if the tire is really 35". My Firestone Destination MT measure only 34.5x12.5. I've found most manufacturers tires don't equal a true 35" by looking at their websites the say exactly what each tire measures.

Gotcha. Either way tho, I had to set my tire size to 33.5 to get true MPH readings.

I would use metric when entering in the tire size. For example my tire size is 35x13.5R20 the real size is 34.8x13.6R20 converted to metric I get 345/54R20. Which if my memory serves me correct is right where I have my Diablo i1000 set. Personally I have never been able to enter in the exact metric size and have my speedo be 100% accurate. Usually you will have to finagle the numbers a little bit.

I went to the dealer last weekend and looked at the RR trucks and they definitely have a lot of slack in the sensor wires on the front end. Also, I noticed that they have routed the wire differently than is shown in the pictures above. I am mad at myself that I didn't snap a picture of it, but I will get one the next time I am near the dealer again. They have routed the wire toward the rear of the knuckle and have a clip screwed into the knuckle to hold it. I did not trace any wires in the rear (assuming there are some there too), but will I will check into it the next time I am there.

Same thing I noticed too. Also mad that I didn't take any pictures myself. When I called RR they insured me that they used the factory sensor wires but their kit has different bracketry for the sensors to mount on.

I finally got around to speaking with my local BDS dealer today. They informed me that more than likely the reason my stabilitrac light is coming on is because of my alignment being out of wack. The gentleman I spoke with also said that once the truck settles after the installation of the lift this can also cause some issues with alignment plus tire rotations may affect it as well. So I will be looking into getting my alignment checked this weekend and having the dealership also reset the yaw position sensor. If those do not fix the issue the BDS dealer told me to bring it to them and they'll take the appropriate actions to fix it.

My issues have been cleared up since I went to the alignment shop my local Bds installer uses. Bds tech support also said it was the alignment and it is very critical the alignment is 100% perfect there is 0 room for error on these new trucks. The yaw steering position and abs stabilitrack sensors are extremely sensative.

Did they give you a print out of your alignment?
