sorry dude...

i had a truck stolen from work years and years ago for the wheels/tires...such a shitty feeling.

i am paranoid with this new truck...but thankfully i work behind secure gate and it gets parked in the garage every night at home...

here is mine...33X12.5X20 toyos...my vote is to go back with A/T wheels...i like them better than aftermarket.

Look on the bright side, they didn't steal the truck itself.

Honestly, good thieves will have a few sets of wheel lock keys so wheel locks won't completely stop everybody.

Maybe they should make wheel locks that use your ignition key.

Neighbor caught the whole thing on his cameras I got it on video but cant see plates pulled up right in front of the house and turned off the car lights. I'm in Houston sheriff says it doesn't matter where you live thieves will travel he says a whole neighborhood got it a month ago total of 10 gm trucks

Anyone got suggestions on the offset?

Stock AT wheels are +27 offset (a little more than one inch)

If you go to zero offset, your tires will stick out 1" more than they do now.

If you do a -27 offset, your tires will stick out 2" more than they do stock.

Downside about negative offset, the wheels look sunk inside the tires.

If I were going aftermarket wheels, I would be looking for a zero offset or +1 offset

Sorry to hear that. If it was the sheriff dept. you must live in the suburbs. Same thing happen to a buddy that lives in Cypress.

On youtube, search on "remove wheel lock without key" for how easy it is to break the locks.

Took the guys 6 minutes with factory wheel locks.

I have a wireless camera system that notifies me in a half a second after an act begins. The signal is sent by email to the PC and phone in the form of a 20 second video. Picture is better at night, the camera system has night vision. Remember though if you get the drop on a criminal and confront him in the act, you better have Roscoe with you, and I ain't talking about your dog. At the very least, if you got up and called the cops, usually they respond in five minutes. In your case, the cops would have a minute to spare and would have caught them in the act.

That is freakin horrible man! Had thieves get me for 4k worth of wheels and tires off my Evo. I feel your pain. I agree look for a zero offset wheel. It will give you a good balance of large tire fitment without making the wheel poke out too far. Oh and +1 for info on this night vision camera system.
