Not taking anything away from BBRU, but compared to his 14.68 at 93mph with heavier tires, my 5.3 ran 14.73 at 95mph with a std diablo intune, and mine has 20" wheels also. Yes mine maybe a little quicker than stock and his is a little slower than stock. Of course the 6.2's are more powerfull, but the diff just doesn't seem enough to wait for. As it turns out, I would have had to wait two months.

The 5.3 on E85 is only 40HP off the 6.2, so with just a little mod work things could get interesting ifs that's your game. As far as calling these trucks slugs, well you can expect to be called on that especially on this forum. Just about anything in 69 was slow compared to most anything today, just saying.

Calling a bone stock 5500lb truck that runs low that mid 14's in the 1/4 mile a slug is asinine, plain and simple. It was blatantly obvious that UNbadass69 was just trying to stir the old poo pot with his trolling. Back to the topic, these are trucks, not race cars, but they are extremely peppy.

No but it sure rattled your chain didn't it. I love your name calling... such a stand up mature guy! Calling a high 14 second truck at a perfect sea level track is asinine indeed. Is it to be ashamed of... no. But is it really that impressive when the outgoing L9H could do the same thing... or a Diablo tune only equal age 5.3.... not really. If you came on here and talked it up with a 14.1 or something that would be impressive. But 14.68.. well good job anyway I guess

Yes I would say that 66 degree weather, E-rated 33x12.50x20 all terrain tires, on BMF 20x9 rims on a bone stock truck is impressive. So, not only is it a considerable amount more weight, the tires are roughly 2 " taller.

Since when is a 14.6 considered high and not middle?

What day did you run at the track? I can find the slip you posted but I want to figure something out from it? I want to see what your density altitude was. Maybe it was 3000 feet lol.

You're a troll that doesn't like being called out. You have yet to answer the original question of what exactly you consider to be a better platform in a gasoline light truck. You have dodged the question through two pages of your BS post. Simply be a man and participate in the discussion. Better yet, tell everybody what your far superior personal vehicle is.

Sit back and look at your own damn posts for once and switch. It's obviously not a Chev and I am on a GM site. So I tell you and then what...... get another barrage of stupid replies about it? I am done. Enjoy!

So, once again you ****ing degenerate, would you like me to explain what trolling is?? Why come onto a GM website and run your dumbass mouth. I would be more than happy to line my truck up against whatever you got.
