Almost Bought a 6.2

I sold an 05 Duramax 2500 ECSB 4X4 and got an 08 1500 Z-71 CC with a 5.3 and regretted it.

After sold it and bought an 11 2500 Duramax ECSB 4X4 and was much happier.

However the high step up and bouncy ride got old.

Wanted another 1500 but I swore it would only be a 6.2.

Having owned 2 I would not consider going back to a 5.3.

Get something you like and you will be quite happy.

Internet Troll

An Internet troll, or simply troll in Internet slang, is someone who posts controversial, inflammatory, irrelevant or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum or chat room, with the primary intent of provoking other users into a response or to generally disrupt normal on-topic discussion.

Trust me, I have intent of visiting your spineless, frenchy, shithole of a country. Pile of garbage =$54,500 truck. LOL!!!!!!!!!! Just admit your broke ass drives a mid 90's ford that couldn't break the tires loose on wet grass. I would also gamble to say I'm arguing with a teenager that probably doesn't even own a vehicle, judging by your inability to reply to a reasonable question. But instead, replies "none of your damn business". What a frenchy p$$y

You are beyond words man. I hope you are proud of yourself.

Quite proud. I joined this website to gain knowledge and help others with GM vehicles. I do not get on here to start crap with people and troll around. You make a statement that I felt was, to say the least, lacked any validity. Then I simply asked you a simple question. YOU took it to the next level and cursed at me.

With that said, im done replying. I apologize to the thread starter for wasting 2 pages with BS arguing.

No.. I stated an opinion..... you didn't like it. I read other posts you have made and figured it would result in exactly what it did..... only I did that after I started bantering with you already. Oh well. Not a big deal.

Yes I would say that 66 degree weather, E-rated 33x12.50x20 all terrain tires, on BMF 20x9 rims on a bone stock truck is impressive. So, not only is it a considerable amount more weight, the tires are roughly 2 " taller.

Since when is a 14.6 considered high and not middle?

If those tires are really 33's, there only about an inch taller than stock 275/55 20's (21.9").

The 5.3 on E85 is only 40HP off the 6.2, so with just a little mod work things could get interesting ifs that's your game. As far as calling these trucks slugs, well you can expect to be called on that especially on this forum. Just about anything in 69 was slow compared to most anything today, just saying.

I never called the 6.2's slugs.

One of the reasons I didn't mind getting rid of my intake and tune 13.0 TBSS is because as far as fast vehicles nowadays it was at the slow end. Holding out to get a low 14 sec PICKUP TRUCK over a low 15 second PICKUP TRUCK didn't interest me. If I wanted a fast truck, and had the money, I'd get a duramax and tune it. Pretty easy to get those in the 12's.

I traded up to a 6.2. I'm very happy with the extra power. This truck is truly fast! Get one and don't look back.

No you didn't, I was commenting on two different post, that's where the 69 comment came from. As far as tuning a diesel, I think I would S/C a 5.3 first it would be cheaper .
