Yeah, bought setup used and it was for a 5.3.

You can't hear exhaust inside truck unless you are in it. It has a really clean note with no burble but a little rasp as you can hear. When driving I only hear it(the rasp) at 6200 when shifting.

Are the headers 1 3/4 or 1 7/8?

Justin recently did a lot of testing with 1 3/4 vs 1 7/8 headers on his 6.2. The difference was pretty substantial. For a truck the 1 3/4 are really the better fit. Low end was improved and mileage was much better. The gain with top end hp was quite impressive with the 1 7/8, but would rarely ever be utilized in a daily driven situation.

Mine are 1 7/8" and I don't doubt those findings at all. If I had no other plans for this truck I would have went with 1 3/4". I know I gained torque over the stock exhaust so I'm more than happy.

I can't believe how much of a difference it made actually, went from a shit and get truck that laid rubber down, to blowin the tires off at will anywhere under 20mph. You actually have to drive it now if you want to get it from a dig. I need to figure out how to start driving like an adult again but what's the fun in that? :)

Kooks are on... I'll tune it tonight and report back with a sound clip. I'm actually modifying the Y-pipe now because it was for a 5.3 so I'm dragging out the 309 wire and upgrading the output side of the Y-pipe to 3.5", or 4"... We'll see what I have room for.

What Plug wires did you put on there? I have the Pacesetters and have a few of the stock wires that are too close for me.

Wires probably don't need the protectors because they have the 135* boot which gives them tons of room and they have a thermal barrier built in which is what makes them a 10.4mm wire. I absolutely hate burnt wires so it's worth it to me for the extra protection.

Here's headers, ORY, and Corsa touring.

It sounds mean under wot, but I plan on sticking a magnaflow resonator on it to deepen the tone. If that doesn't work I'll get a new muffler.

What header bolts did you use?

They came with the headers, look like a chrome set from Local auto parts store but you certainly don't need em. There is tons of room for bolt heads.

This is current setup, too loud for daily driving. I appreciate everyone giving me their advice, I think I'm going to stick with the Corsa and install a Vibrant Ultra Quiet Resonator, for its seems to be the good route thats also good on my budget. Anyone have stories about Vibrant Resonators?

Not a fan of anything Vibrant makes. I do some fabrication as a hobby and have used Vibrant products a few times and can honestly say their quality is all over the place and the materials seem very cheap. I will not and have never used Vibrant on any of my personal stuff. I have used it if someone supplied the parts.

If I were you I would pull the Corsa and install a different catback. It really is a shame corsa doesn't produce a "touring" system for these new trucks like they did on the older platforms. I have had corsa on many cars and the new 2K trucks are the only thing I have heard that they sound like a race boat when you add headers.

A friend of mine has a 14 Denali and his truck was the fabrication mule for ARH and he also got one of Corsa's first kits and it was insane how loud it was...and not in a good way. His intermediate pipes DID have the ARH cats.

This is from my TBSS... 1.875 Stainless works headers and ORY. Corsa Touring.

Holy crap that's loud! I listened to it through my truck stereo, don't advise it.
