Correct. TPMS only applies to vehicles with 10,000 GVWR or less. 2500hd trucks have TPMS but because the 3500hd trucks all have over 10,000lbs GVWR it is not mandated by the law.

True.

We bought a Tireminder TM66 tpms to add this feature to our '15 3500. The nice thing about this aftermarket system is that it covers both our dually and our travel trailer...factory systems can't do that!

The rest of us bought 3500's just to avoid TPMS and you went out of your way to ADD it...

I did and it was a good decision for my situation. Can't speak for anyone else, but thanks for letting me know. :)

The book with these trucks must cover many models. I read where TPMS is there but apparently 3500 don't have TPMS, is this true?

3500HD trucks ARE available with TPMS - but only on models with a 10,000 GVWR or less- specifically single rear wheel models.

All DRW trucks have a GVWR exceeding 10,000lbs (and hence no TPMS available), and SWR trucks are available with a 10,800 GVWR option (same truck, different sticker) that also eliminates the TPMS option.

I have saved a few tires thanks to tpms. It'll show low pressure way before the tire looks flat.

I have a 2016 Denali 3500HD dually, going to be a full time camper. Wanting to know if the computer has software for TPMS that can be turned on if I added tire sensors.
