GMC Sierra Owners-Post a pic of your truck with a Hood Shield

As it seems the companies that offer hood (bug) shields either have a poor photo or no photo at all of their offerings of shields for the GMC Sierra, if you have installed one, please post up a picture of it installed on your truck.

Also, tell us the brand & model.

My truck had a Lund on it when it was sitting on the lot. It had a scuff on it, so they replaced it with an AVS that looked identical.

I also have a Aeroskin on mine like the top pic. Just mine is black and not chrome.

Aeroskin here as well, breaks the silver hood up from the chrome grille well. Would 100% go with a flush mount bug deflector, looks way better.

So none of these pictured so far appear to be the latest matte black Aeroskin II I saw in a local shop that has an "extra" ramp-ridge across the front..........that supposedly helps to push bugs/rocks/crap up just a little bit more to avoid the windshield.

Anyone have one of those and like it or hate it?

I went with a clear bra film of about the same coverage area as those shown, maybe a bit more. It also covers the painted grill and bumper. I've been pleased with it after 60k.

So the purpose of the aero skins is to protect from rocks? Being that it doesn't have a lift on the back that would deflect bugs up and over the windshield.

Sound like version 2 does, which i would think be the purpose of getting one. They look nice and form fitting though
