Well, too late. They got me.

Camaro looks like one around my neighborhood. You in Rye Hill?

Who put your level kit on?

Nope traded the camaro for my all terrain and Omega Truck in Alma did the 2.5 in level with tires and the LED light cube foglight mod as we'll..

So today I spoke with a service rep from Vled and inquired about the new 4500 lm kit offered in the 9006 bulb. Now I know that bulb will work but was told that due to the fact the style of led they offer won't work with our sierras because the duct cover can't be reinstalled. Is this totally true or are we stuck with the xenon depot led headlight kit.

I have no problems with that except the huge difference of 4000 lm in total between both headlights....

Xenon depot kit 2500 lm x 2 = 5000 lm

Vled kit 4500 lm x 2 = 9000 lm

Second comes the fogs. Both places offer the Cree bulbs and better kits for fogs ( not really wanting the Cree bulb)

Vled has the 5202 3000lm kit....... Was told the same issue as the headlights

Xenon depot has the 2500 lm kit but offered under the PSX24W kit

Assuming both are plug and play what's the best option even mix matching these options

Thanks guys, just looking for feed back from those that have these kits

I just installed the Xenon Depot 2500 LM PSX24X kit. So much light, I am worried I will blind oncoming traffic. I was so overwhelmed, I didn't even install the H11 LED kit I bought from XD for my low beams. I will see when I drive home from work in the PM tomorrow if they blind people. By the way, the PSX24W bulbs don't fit in the 5202 housings properly. I ended up trimming them down with a utility knife. They still don't fit as good as the OEM shitty halogen bulbs. I hope for your sanity that the Sierra is different. I don't remember reading anything about the bulbs not fitting properly. I also had to take out the green water proofing seals on the OEM harness so that I could connect to the ballasts (or whatever they are) that connect to the LED bulbs. I tried like hell to connect them leaving the green seals in place. There was no way, no how.

Good to hear your happy with the light output. I'd like to see some night pics if you had any.

Is the patterned more wide spread like a fog or does it also have decent cut off lines like the headlight kits?

I have the XD 9012 LED kit and love them. Will be installing the PSX24W fog kit in my Sierra tonight and will let you know if I have any fitting issues/ trimming or if it's a perfect PNP.

Ok perfect thanks!! From what I understand the plugs on the PSX24W fogs have to be trimmed to fit the 5202 stock plugs. Plus if you have any night photos with the head lights and head lights plus fogs I'd like to see them as I'm sure others would.

Pretty much going to pull the trigger on the same set up you have..

Noticed your from Ontario.. Where abouts?

I've got the XD 9012 led headlights and the Cree fogs but I'm replacing the fogs with VLED 5202 3000 lm kit. Since there is no dust cover on the fogs they should work good. I spoke with tech support and they told me they would be fine but don't recommend them if you go mudding because of the fans. Tracking says they will be here tomorrow and if I have time I'll put them in.

Yeah that's what I thought as we'll but the guy said they wouldn't work.

My only concern is driving in the winter... Deep snow and slush would probably be the fate of these Vled fogs.

Would like to see some pics after your install if you don't mind. Thanks

Got the psx24w fog kit installed tonight. I'm happy with the light out out. It is like having two complete sets of headlights.

As for the install. You completely right. Had to trim tabs on the bulb and on the plug. Was a pain in the ass.

And I'm just outside of Ottawa, how about you?

Just east of Toronto... So you had to trim the tabs off the kit side or the factory side? Didn't really want to get into hacking anything on the truck.

Tabs on the kit plug in. Didn't trim anything stock

Ok perfect. Overall your happy with the light output compared to stock? Guess you haven't really had a chance to drive the back roads considering you just installed these but would you say they light up the ditch a bit better with the new LED fogs?

Haha sorry for the million questions.

Went driving tonight on the back roads. They do a nice job lighting up the ditches. I'm happy with the performance of the lights. I had LED fog bulbs and upgraded to this kit for more light. Not so happy with how the kit fit.

Light output is perfect at night. No one flashed at me. Total 'flood' like beam pattern, although I am throwing light at the trees and ditches on the sides of the road now. I'll try to shoot a photo, but those light photos all suck from iPhones.
