LED Headlight Mod Sierra 1500

What would you like to know? These bulbs are basically unbranded LMZ bulbs because they came directly from factory with the same heatsink and same diodes

 

They were priced at $69.99 USD a set when I ordered them, ordered 2 sets, was $55 USD for shipping to where I am + $10 USD paypal fee. (then canada border hit me with $33.42 CAD tax)

 

 

I am still to calibrate the offset more to see if I can get better beam pattern for high beam, but it is already performing really good!

 

Where might one aquire the info to buy such bulbs?

Yeap, amy.sun82 on skype is all I have for contact, get her to send you the picture of the bulb ahead of time so you know if you are ordering the right adapter ring, her English is limited.

 

For my headlight ones, I took off the plate right behind the fan to allow more air flow (and screwed the 4 screws back on with the nut to keep fan in place)

Seems a little sketchy bro....how did you find this person? I'm definitely interested after looking at these compared to the XD brand that everyone seems to like now. Just want to make sure there legit cause you make it sound like some chick is selling these out of her basement lol lol

DangerDick actually provided the contact, I know it was sketchy, but I got my end of the deal and you can see the results too!

 

Not fake product or anything, they shipped it with your choice of courier too, I was able to choose UPS as DHL sucks in my area.

 

She is just a contact from the factory, when you order, they most likely have to special order about 7 days to "produce". They even shipped it on a weekend as I think they actually work on weekends over there.

 

Take my comments as a grain of salt but I have been around this forum for a while, but not selling stuff or has any affiliation with anyone. I just dont like the fact that vled is selling the same thing for double the price! (they did upgrade the design slightly recently though, same diodes)

how are you guys ordering the different color temp? only thing i see on xenon depot site is 6000K temp? what will match my DRLs and LED light cubes?

and still confused on this CANbus harness do i need it or no?

you want 6000k anyway, LEDs are normally around 6000k to 6500k, any variations are filtered with reduction in performance

Running the 9012 LEDs from Xenon Deport and love them. Still not sure about the CANbus. Custermer service ensures me that it's need but I have zero flickering issues.

 

Looking at installing their kit for fogs...

Reading the reviews on their site, one guy said he had to do some trimming to fit these. Does anyone run this kit? If so was there any trimming needed?

From Xenon Depot's website...

 

"If you are installing this kit in a vehicle with a canbus system or daytime running lights you will need to order this component to prevent your new HID or LED bulb from flickering."

 

I have the canbus harness but have not installed it. Just like Sierra15AT, I have not had any issues.

I have the Xenondepot's in my SLT lights. Been in for about 2 months with zero flickering..

I just bought the canbus with the lights so I did not have to worry about the flickering. Everything is working like it's suppose to.

Justice the color alone is much better and they are brighter.

going to order the LED bulbs from xenon depot and im not going to order the CANbus upgrade due to it not being necessary correct?
